Scotia Airport Hotel

Beware!! Hotel was full even though they accepted my reservation. They nait and switched me to another hotel (probably same group because neither respond to emails). Informed both hotels and Expedia UK that I did not want room at other hotel. Scotia Airport now will not refund moeny or even respond to emails. Expedia UK not much help yet either. Criminal.

Big and secure car park...cleanliness and excellent facilities.

Situated in a council estate in Paisley. The smelled of cigarette smoke. Not impressed.

In a rather scruffy area but excellent proximity to Glasgow Airport and within walking distance of Paisley city center.

For the price, it was good. Clean, sufficient, and not uncomfortable. The reception was off-putting, since we were checked in by a barefoot man with a scruffy beard and strong breath. But the room was good enough for the price we paid.

After reading previous reviews we were more pleased than expected. Front office staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was OK, clean but not not too soundproof between rooms. No elevator or ramp up the elevated entrance...a ramp would have been helpful.

Overbooked so we and others were turned away and had to walk to a 'house' nearby. House had not been cleaned - all beds slept in and excrement in un-flushed toilets. Major slug infestation on ground floor was pretty disgusting, although the slime trails did glisten prettily in the light of street lamps. This hotel overlooks and then has an 'overflow' sister hotel that you might get into. Paisley at night is not a place to be if you're not local. Fortunately Courtyard Marriott allowed us early check in the next morning. Do not book. The major chain hotels near the airport aren't much more expensive

Room was clean enough & the staff were very friendly. I had previously telephoned ahead for an early check in but when I arrived my room wasn't ready and no mention on the computer so not a good start.

Room was clean and spacious, and quiet despite the noise from a night club you could hear outside. Arriving after dark and leaving before light local area mix of industry and residential was a bit unnerving, just a first impression that would likely have been better in daylight. At 178 quid for a night a bit overpriced for what it is, but convenient for an early rental car drop off at the airport for 6 am flight
