Scotia Airport Hotel

Upon booking this hotel I received an email telling me they had overbooked but had moved me to another hotel near by called Motel Air! I didn’t think that I needed to check this as I had received email confirmations from both hotels. Upon arrival at the other hotel I could not check in nor could I make contact with the employee who claimed to be working (they advertise a 24 hour reception) this is quite clearly a lie. I tried contacting Scotia Airport Hotel also but to no avail. In my booking it clearly stated the time I was arriving yet no one questioned this. I ended up having to go to the Holiday Inn Express nearby where I had to pay for a room in order to avoid sleeping in my car that night. I returned to both hotels the next morning to try to figure out the issue. Motel Air claimed to never had received a booking sent from Scotia Airport Hotel. My money was taken yet I was informed there wasn’t actually a room for me at either hotel as likewise Motel Air was also “fully booked”. I have since tried calling both hotels and had no response. I’ve sent emails and yet still no response. It seems in the hospitality business both these hotels are a joke and have no good reputation amongst the other hotels in the area. I would appreciate an apology for the situation but it seems no body can offer that. All I will say is, don’t book with these hotels. Stay safe and use a reputable hotel for your stay especially if you are a lone traveller which I was. It was gone midnight when I finally got somewhere to stay no thanks to this joke of a hotel. I shall ever ever use this again nor will I be recommended it to anyone! Absolute shambles.

Excellent value for money , clean room and bathroom, close to town centre and transport links . Kobby, working on reception when we arrived seemed to be a one man workforce ! Despite being busy he made us very welcome and even at the end if the night when we returned he was still on duty , still courteous and helpful. Would stay again.

We stayed here last night 19th jan . We just needed somewhere to stay one night as we were through from fife for my aunties funeral on the 20th. It was great for what we needed. The room was spotless, the bed was comfy and clean, very quiet in the room,

Great location for us and clean but tired needs some paint work attended too! Shower not running away properly! Good parking and nice and quiet stay

Looks like an old manor house, the rooms were clean, beds comfortable, only about 5 minute drive from Glasgow Airport. Restaurants etc are an easy drive away. Would recommend as a overnight stop if flying out early.

Cheap and cheerful, friendly staff, off road parking. No catering other than a vending machine. and tea coffee making facilities in the room, but it was ideal for us visiting the area.

Receptionist was Rude and confrontational. Room had pubes on the bed and hair all over the floor, something as simple as a Hoover would have done the job. Also heard some guests outside my door complaining of money going missing from their room which concerned me. Shower was two star at best.

The beds were okay. Not the cleanest and poor water pressure made a shower out of the cards.

Cheap and cheerful good enough for what we needed whilst working away free WiFi always a bonus
