Wonderful location, and the terrace overlooking the city and the water is beautiful. The staff is very friendly, and we absolutely loved our stay there.

Nice well presented room, note that you can expect to be woken by the local mosque at 4am though.

The character and old world charm compensated for climbing up three flights of stairs

The hotel is easy to find if arriving by ferry, The car park is secure although a little difficult to navigate the steep and winding road. The building is historic and delightfully set in aspic.

It was really clean. The only disadvantage was that there were 4 single beds only, and no window to look out. But for the price with breakfast was definitely worth it as we only slept there. Best thing was it was walking distance from both ferry port and Médina market

Unique, weird as all get out, pics of owner adorn the walls of hallways & rooms with gold frames. You have to walk up an unimaginable number of stairs, there is no other way. Our door made a horrifying, loud noise scraping on the floor to be opened. Super close to the ferry station and the Kasbah though, so it did what I needed.

Good hotel. Old charm. Dining area are decorated like in the olden days. Room did not had a view.

This is definitely the oldest hotel in Tangier! The walk up to the third floor with our luggage and no elevator was an experience in itself. The hotel décor is unique and the staff were generally friendly. The best part of this hotel is the location. We arrived by ferry from Tarifa and were able to walk to the hotel. We were also able to walk everywhere to see the sites as it is situated in the city center. They do not serve alcohol here and there is no fridge in the room. It was a good experience but I would probably stay in a more modern hotel next time around.

It is old, but we liked the charm. Breakfast was great, lots of selections. You can easily walk here from the port, just ignore the taxi drivers. We bought some foods in the market and they stored it overnight for us, we found that very helpful. If you want a nice and new modern hotel then this is not the place for you.
