The Royal Haciendas All Inclusive

Everything excellent the staff and location

Royal Hacienda was a good experience. Everyone was cordial and respectful. I would h e liked more restaurant options but above all the food in Kinoko was great.

The room size was perfect for a family! The restaurants were good but limited, it was difficult to make reservations as well. They had a good amount of pools but could use some updated slides for big kids. Overall the majority of the staff was amazing and we enjoyed our stay.

This our first visit at the Royal Resorts. Kids had good time. Good atmosphere and decent variety of foods. The overall services were good as well.

Resort was filled with activities, transport was available for activities outside the resort. Food was good/ok. Would go back again!

The pros of this hotel are the staff the spa and the rooms. I really wanted to love this hotel but feel that there were lots of cons. First, the never ending sales pitch. We were told to attend a 90 minute presentation which turned into two hours. The sales individuals demeanor completely changed once we made it clear we were not buying. A total of 3 people pitched different things to us, the last lady cut me off mid sentence very rudely as if I was not understanding what she was selling. We lost power 4 of the 6 days we were there. It would have been nice if the hotel offered some sort of perk as people pay lots of money to be there and it ruined a big part of the vacation. We even had to reschedule our massage due to the outage which caused us to miss out on other planned activities. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was for the “night shows”. We didn’t get to see either show as the first one was canceled due to the power outage and the second we were told by our concierge was out of room and was also not part of the all inclusive. We also were unable to get into the restaurants due to lack of availability.

This property has many great things. The food was fantastic, probably the best quality food I have had at an all inclusive and I have been to 30+. The pools bars had great food and options, the pizza place was fantastic, the 2 reservation restaurants were great. the rooms were awesome. We had a 2 bedroom suite which was so nice for out family of 5. Pools were great, very clean. I liked the size of the resort, very walkable. Not crowded ever at the pool or anywhere. The things that I didn't love, the reservation system for dinners. You had to call every morning at 8:00 to get a reservation for that night which means I had to get up at 8:00 every day which wasn't super fun on vacation. But the worst part was when you called at 8:00, they only had reservations available for 5pm or 9pm. We did get reservation for a couple of night and when we went the restaurant was 1/2 full. Very annoying and dysfunctional reservation policy. But like I said the food was very good at the other restaurants but would have been nice to have dinner at normal times. They other thing that I didn't like was they alcohol policy. No alcohol served before 11 am and no alcohol served after 11 pm. Anywhere. And room service was very stingy on alcohol as well. I have never been to an all inclusive that didn't have late night options. There was very little "night life". The shows were hit or miss, there is no club or anywhere really to do anything at night other than the lobby bar which had live music at 8pm
