Great location, amazing room and exceptional garden, quirky

Honestly there was nothing about this stay that we didnt like, from the moment we arrived (which was early) to have lunch before checking in staff were lovely, they even allowed us to go up to room early as it was ready

Was a perfect stay nothing to dislike about any of it

The decor was lovely and the swing in the bedroom was unexpected! The bed was really comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. Food was very good. We had dinner and breakfast and both were delicious. The gardens outside were lovely. All of the staff were friendly and attentive.

Friendly staff and the hotel had a very nice garden in a good location. Our room was large and provided ample space for our two dogs. The shower was excellent. The evening meals were very good and presented to a high standard.

The room decor was not to our taste at all (there was a swing hanging from a beam in the middle of the room!). It was also in need of redecorating and re carpeting, as was the outside corridor. The stairs were a major problem for us, but that was because one of our dogs is very old and struggled massively.

Our stay was a Monday evening and as the hotel wasn't full we were upgraded to a special room! The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was very comfortable with interesting added features. Our evening meal was excellent and beautifully presented. An imaginative chef creating tasty dishes. A look around the hotels gardens is a must see.
