Lovely room, freshly cooked breakfast and location was great for us visiting the area

A little pricey for level of facilities, but that was understood when booking

We found the hotel in need of a facelift.It was very historic but the decor in the bedrooms hadn’t been changed in years. Not suitable for elderly or disabled as no lift.The bed was a joke very high and not particularly comfortable. The landing to our room had torn wallpaper and was really scruffy. The male cleaner was a lovely man and did a good job of cleaning our room. We found the breakfast really oily and only had toast on the second morning. We had one evening meal that was satisfactory but went out the next evening. It is in a beautiful area and not too far from Bridgnorth.

Excellent hard working staff who went above & beyond to make our stay wonderful. The room was lovely & the food was incredible! Tapas night was fun & amazed the tastebuds. Lots of choice too.A credit to the chef & the waiting on staff were amazing too. The cleaners also deserve recognition as the place smells great & was spotless.

Not a negative as our Breakfast was cooked to perfection & tasted amazing, however, some of the essentials were missing from the menu such as black pudding, hash brown, fried bread. People would pay more for extra choice on a bigger plate. There was a good selection of breakfast cereals but croissants, pain au chocolat & other pastries would be a welcome addition also.

Staff were helpful and kind and the food was excellent in the restaurant.
