Hundred House Hotel

The staff were friendly, attentive and efficient. The food was excellent. The evening meals were delightful, well presented, flavors were well chosen per plate and each of the four of us was very positive on each dish and course. The decoration fitted the building,and complemented it well. Not all people will like it, but it is different.

The one thing we would have liked , was an area where we could relax and chat. Our first evening the dining room shut at 9.15pm, which meant we only had the reception area to sit in, which contained wooden seats. We went to bed by 9.30pm, not what we would have wanted.

The only thing that I found difficult were the stairs as I am disabled and found it very difficult to get up and down the stairs, the rest was excellent.

The location, but as it was a warm night we had to have the room windows open and the noise from the road all night was a disturbance.

Friendly staff and food in the restaurant was great. Room needs a more thorough clean. No blackout blinds/curtains and lots of traffic going past in the morning, so we were woken early.
