Beautiful property. E were upgraded to a family room when we arrived and it was beautiful. The beds were so comfortable. The food was delicious and all freshly cooked.

Some of the decor was a little tired, but we didn’t mind it at all

The food was delicious, both evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast. The swing in the bedroom was unusual and fun! The gardens were lovely to walk through after dinner.

I received 4 emails allegedly from the hotel and Booking.com which were scams. BEWARE.

My evening meal was truly excellent. Perhaps the nicest fish pie I have tasted. Breakfast was very good also. Special mention to all the staff who went above and beyond. A great selection of beers was made good use of on such a hot evening.

Better ventilation in the room would have been appreciated. Yes it was one of the hottest nights of the year but with no aircon it would have been good to be able to open a window. I had the fan working overtime. I found the room decoration bizzare. A riot of colour and floral prints was not exactly calming but the four poster bed was comfy enough.

Lovely food, great staff, quirky room with a swing. Enjoyed it and near to Ironbridge for convenience.

Evening menu was excellent. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Would thoroughly recommend

Could do with USB plug on room.

The house and its history is truly amazing, gardens are beautiful We attended a wedding which was stunning and the food was unreal, absolutely the best food we have had
