Brickhouse Inn B&B

This was our first visit to the Brickhouse Inn, and our room seamlessly combined colonial charm with modern comforts. It featured a heating and cooling system that maintained the perfect temperature. Although the cold weather limited outdoor time, we appreciated the shared balcony overlooking the grounds. We're looking forward to returning in warmer weather to enjoy the view, whether reading or relaxing in the courtyard. The inn is just a ten-minute walk from Lincoln Square, where numerous dining options are available along the way. A grab-and-go breakfast is available in the main house, with the option to order a cooked breakfast. The staff were friendly, approachable, and eager to help with any questions or requests. We truly enjoyed our stay.

We have stayed in B&Bs in Charleston, Savannah, Charlottesville, and other cities that cost less, included a gourmet breakfast and evening reception in the base price, and provided a much nicer experience. Our room was cold and the bed was a bit narrow. On the plus side, we were near the center of town, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff was very attentive.

We rented the Georgia Room and Kentucky Suite. Both rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was very responsive and helpful. The location was great - walkable to many of the shops, restaurants, and attractions.

Loved the stay. Located in a great location close to town. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. We did a ghost tour with Brickhouse and and a great time as well!

We had a lovely stay in this cozy and homey inn for our romantic New Year’s Eve getaway! The room was very welcoming and warm during this cold season, we loved the antique feel that felt like it brought us to a different era in the past (with modern amenities :) ). It’s just a short 5 minute walk to the main downtown circle of Gettysburg which was perfect for going to the NYE celebration, and having a dinner in town.

We stayed for a weekend and had a wonderful time. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We opted for the breakfasts and they were very good. It was nice touch that they had tea/coffee and snacks available throughout the day! We look forward to staying there again.

Stayed in the Virginia Room over Remembrance Day weekend. Such a quaint, quiet little room to get away from the hustle and bustle of the streets. Warm shower, comfy bed, and a nice grab and go breakfast. I wish there would have been to-go coffee cups to go along with the muffins! Next year, I will bring my own mug. I also enjoyed not having to check in and check out and parking was easy to find and get to. Already booked for next Remembrance Day in the Ohio Room!

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at the Brickhouse Inn Bed and Breakfast. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants, shopping and historical buildings and functions. We go every year to Gettysburg for the Rememberance weekend in November. The parade passes in front of the Brickhouse which is so convenient. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. There is a wonderful breakfast for an additional price, but it is well worth it. In fact, I have reserved a room for next year at the Brickhouse Inn Bed and Breakfast. I highly recommend that your next stay in Gettysburg be at the Brickhouse Inn Bed and Breakfast.
