The Chill Resort and Spa, Koh Chang

My husband and I stayed here for 1 week at the beginning of our Thailand vacation. It was such a treat and a very special place to stay. From the moment we arrived the staff were so very kind, friendly and helpful. Always a smile and willing to help. The room was lovely with a large balcony and excellent amenities. The resort offered a complimentary dinner for one evening as well as a complimentary spa service. Breakfast was included daily and it was truly a 5 star breakfast. My dietary issues were easily accommodated and the variety of options was incredible. The quality of the food was beyond any that we had previously experienced. There was always a place to sit by the pool and staff offered bottles of water regularly to the guests. I can't wait to come back and experience this all over again. Thank you for a great week!

Wow! We have been to Thailand multiple times and it’s known that the Thai are great people but the service at The Chill Resort is unmatched. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure we have a pleasant stay! We really enjoyed the breakfast in the morning and staying at the pool for the whole day!

Very inconvenient we experienced for the room on the top floor. The balcony is only accessible through the “living room” and not from the master bedroom. So when your kids at sleeping at night you have to pass them at night to chill on the balcony and although it’s a great place the price is just too high, we’ve spend €4500 for 10 nights but for that price we would expect a little more like included dinner or drinks. The room and the pool only is not justifying the price to be honest.

Perfect in every way!! Only missing a nice beach but everything else made up for it and there is a fab beach only ten minutes walk away!.

The room was constantly damp, and a dehumidifier had to be used. As a result, it was difficult to sleep.

The Chill was one of the best hotels I have stayed at due to the kind, friendly staff that made the stay with my young family so enjoyable. No requests too big or small, they do their best to help. Gorgeous view and lovely rooms. The breakfast was delicious and has a wide range available. Perfect location for me and my family, we will definitely return. Thank you! ❤️

We have just returned from a lovely 5 night stay at The Chill. We had such a wonderful relaxing time and absolutely loved the resort and all the staff who worked there. Despite some less than favourable reviews of the beach, we found it perfect for us and our small children 6, 8 and 10. We highly recommend a day trip on a sailing catamaran which was a definite highlight (we used SUP Station and it was perfection!). We stayed in the splash room which was perfect for us as the kids played in the pool all the time. The hotel offers 1 meal per day from a limited menu which you can choose from breakfast items and local dishes. This was such a great idea as we sometimes weren’t keen for breakfast first thing so did a lunch or dinner here and there. The thai massage was so beautiful and we participated in a fun experience of making natural hand scrub, all organised by the hotel. We also did the Kae Bae waterfall which was quite difficult to get to and fairly dry due to lack of rain so would not recommend with small kids or older guests. The best part of our stay was the staff. Particularly Nina at the front desk and Paul and Film from the restaurant. They were all so attentive and anticipated our needs before we asked. They also went above and beyond for any of our requests. Thank you, we will be back!

It was a super nice hotel! Great service from all the staff. Lovely food and an incredibly nice breakfast! The location is in the middle of the city. I think the center here is the coziest on the island. There is a bar on the beach right next to the hotel which was perfect for having drinks at sunset.

The AC in rooms is smelly and requires cleaning. We changed room and which helped but was still not good. Luckily we didn’t require AC due to temperature conditions.
