Best Western Plaza Hotel Hamburg

Overnighted to catch early flight. Love the ease and convenience of this hotel for the train connections, both on arrival into hamburg and then to airport. The rooms are more than mere boxes, and I like the style /design of the bathroom facilities: not just the bare necessities

Nice hotel, Pleasant staff, busy restaurant you need to book

Everything satisfactory - location next to underground and local rail station very convenient, and 'park' (large and exceptionally beautiful cemetery) opposite enticing. However: lonely evenings in front of tv not to be recommended as sets and/or remote controls temperamental to say the least.

Everything you can expect for the price and rating. Really good hotel. The best of all was the shower (great showerhead) and the breakfast. Breakfast was super fresh, good selection and very nicely presented. I would for sure go back!

I enjoyed my hotel and the staff are very nice, i always got a smile. The mini bar with its very tempting chocs drew me in but everything was clearly priced so i only have myself to blame (yum).

Nice clean hotel, with new upgrades. Stayed here because it was close to the airport. Not much in terms of restaurants and night life.

Had to stay in Hamburg for an extra night because all flights to UK were cancelled. Hotel is convenient for the airport but there are better hotels around for similar money.

This hotel is very convenient for Hamburg Airport as it's just next to the Ohlsdorf U-Bahn htation, which is 1 stop from Hamburg Airport. When I stayed there, the Wifi wasn't working and no one did anything to solve the problem. In this day and Age that's outrageous! Hence the average/low marks this time.

The hotel is a 5 minute, 1.30EUR train ride from the airport, and is steps from the door of the station at Ohlsdorf. From there a train to the city takes about 20 minutes, but they run every ten minutes or so, if not better at peak times. The rooms seem recently refurbished, and are both smart and large. In fact definitely one of the larger rooms I have had in Germany for a hotel of this price point. Some details in the fixtures makes me doubt that they will stay looking smart for that long. Breakfast is average for Germany, so better than most equivalents in the USA but disappointing compared to some others and not especially cheap.
