Best Western Plaza Hotel Hamburg

No AC. Stuffy little room. Need to ask for toiletries. Tiny towels. Glass bathroom door that wouldn't fully open. Nothing great about this hotel except the clean room. Not great value for the high price.

This Hotel is definitely not what it used to be so don't be fooled by older reviews...their air condition does not work throughout the hotel, turns out they have a problem that that they fail to mention before you book...we were sweating day and night , had to shower morning and night because it was so hot, it only blows air, but no cool air...that was the worst part , then the remote did not work, the room key did not work, their phone did not work and you cannot call the reception or call from the reception phone to rooms....this place is a mess in every sense of the word, I am very upset for having to pay for three nights, two rooms and have no air in the rooms, it was a night mare and a terrible way to end our 13 day trip to Europe.

quiet and can have a good rest for the business trip

Great hotel - great rooms - free internet that works. Staff was incredibly friendly. Nice residential neighborhood with many small restaurants within a 5 minute walk and many many more within a 10 minute walk. The hotel is 20 yards from the train to the airport which takes 5 minutes and is really cheap.

The hotel is situated a few feet from the rail station that will take you to the Airport or the city center. It was very clean, had parking for customers, a typical German breakfast. I would recommend this hotel.

Needed a short stay close to the airport but near train\bus lines. It is one of the easiest transfers I have ever had from any airport to a hotel. One stop on train leaving from inside the airport, then a 50 meter walk to the hotel. Speedy check in with all of the conveniences, good Restaurant on-site plus plenty of choices around the hotel. Easy transfer again by train to city centre.

I stayed there one night and the hotel is right next to the train station which was great for me because I had a flight to Stockholm the next day. So if you need to get to the Hamburg Airport quickly I would recommend this hotel.

Seconds from the station and only a 3 minute ride on the S-bahn to the airport. Wifi was fantastic. The entire hotel was immaculately spotless. Welcome friendly.

I chose this property for the convenient location -- steps from the transit station, one stop from the airport. The hotel was much quieter than I expected, given the nearness to the station. We also were sharing the hotel with a lively group of young people (a sports team of some sort) -- and once in our room, did not hear any of their exuberance at all. The room was cozy, but did not feel cramped (for 2 people). The bathroom space is interesting and hard to describe, but perfectly functional. Really nice shower. I did not notice many businesses (restaurants, etc.) close by, but the transit station is so convenient that one could hop on the U or S and be anywhere else in town in a matter of minutes. I definitely would stay here again.
