The location is awesome - sitting on the deck with a view of the waterholes while elephants, zebra, wildebeest, hyenas, etc drink below with kilimanjaro in the background could not be better. The rooms are good, the pool is nice (you can do some birdwatching there), food is ok. The staff are really good.

They initially charged my credit card twice but replied within 24 hours and fixedd their mistake - very professional group to interact with.

this place is THE place where to stay in Tsavo West, that's it. stop searching around. everything is awesome. they also gave us a free upgrade in one of their terrific suites: just one word...wow!

The location was exquisite, just in front of a water hole, where animals come all day (and night) to drink water. It was the best hotel we stayed during our safari, with big rooms and comfortable beds, overlooking the water hole (some rooms, at least). Best lobby and bar/restaurant as well, also overlooking the water hole. Tsavo West is very scenic but it’s a bit difficult to spot animals because of the dense bush forest, however you can spot them at the hotel/water hole.

The food could be better, or more adjusted to westerners/europeans, meaning we found limited dishes matching our taste (sufficient though) since there was not great variety either.
