Grosvenor Gardens Hotel

Very hospitable host. Location a few stops from main attraction but also very walkable.

Nice guest house. Lovely owner. Had choice of two rooms. Chose the smaller as it had a better view of the garden. Great location.

We had a wonderful stay. Our hosts were very accommodating and willing to help whenever we needed anything! Conveniently located to a tram stop and train station.

We needed a room at short notice, in this part of Edinburgh. We were delighted in finding this hotel. The host (owner) was very accommodating in our changing the check-in time. This hotel doesn't have a front desk for check-in, so needed to be arranged by telephone. The room was clean and ample size. Shower was very good. Our room overlooked a lovely back garden. Nice touches included bottles of water in the room. WIFI was good. We both slept well. Breakfast was delicious. We didn't order the hot cooked breakfast, so I cannot comment on it, but I did see others eating theirs and they looked lovely. Plenty of yogurt, a wide selection of cereals and a selection of fruit was available. My Rice Krispies, coffee, orange juice, brown-bread toast were delicious. Only missing item was marmalade. I didn't ask for it! Our host was very attentive and eager to ensure that our stay was the best we could have. Price includes breakfast is is reasonable for Edinburgh. When returning to Edinburgh, we plan to stay here, if available. It will be our first location to try and book.

Spacious room. Clean. Staff very attentive and helpful. The curtains didn’t close fully so there was light in the morning but other than that it was a lovely stay.

Fantastic location very close to Haymarket tram, bus and train stops. Very friendly reception. Clean room. Good breakfast considering it’s included.

This is registered as a guest house not a hotel. However we very much enjoyed our stay. Very close to buses and train station. Very clean and all facilities working. Excellent breakfast provided. Mrs Chan very nice ,friendly lady. Would reccomend to any one wanting a short stay in Edinburgh.
