Puri Santrian Beach Resort And Spa

This was our second stay at this hotel,we spent four nights here last May so knew what to expect. The Puri Santrian did not let us down. We stayed in the adult only block again with a private pool for adults only. This block is quieter with large well equipped rooms. The breakfast is excellent though a little noisy and hectic sometimes. The beach restaurant provides an excellent lunch,well priced. We did not eat at the hotel in the evening's as the local restaurants and bars were only two minutes walk away. Try the ice cream shop three minutes away, Would recommend a stay here, though the beach is not the best for swimming, lots of seawdeed.

Room was very dark but not a real negative as you only sleep and shower .

Second séjour au Puri. Toujours au sommet depuis l'année dernière malgré un besoin de rafraîchissement et de mise aux normes. Le personnel, la situation, le confort, la propreté, la restauration, la décoration et le parc sont encore des références cette année. The afternoon tea on the beach offerte par l'établissement fut une attention très appréciée.

Un peu trop de désinvolture de la part de certains membres du personnel à la réception.

Surclassement en club santrian adulte only top. Piscines incroyables les pieds dans l eau transats super. Confortables. Petit déjeuner varié et délicieux.

Beautiful resort, buildings and chalets are immersed in into the nature. The Balinese staff are so welcoming, food is superb and all is so clean and well maintained. The spa is the cherry on top a real retreat. I can only highly recommend to choose this superb place. There are many different rooms, from the Balinese cottages to the honeymoon suite, everything it’s soo clean. From our last visit they also add a beautiful gym.

Room was clean and had a lovely balcony. The pool was good. Breakfast was good and the beach was only metres away.

On arrival at the hotel we sat for about an hour and a half at the outside reception waiting for our rooms (we arrived early) and it's understandable. However, not once were we asked if we would like a cool drink sitting in the heat, not even my 83 year old mother. It would make sense to give a welcome drink then, not wait until we check-in and give us a voucher for one that we had to go look for a bar to use. Many people had a habit of throwing towels on their sun beds early in the morning and leaving them there continually. This made it impossible to find a sub bed during the day. No staff members go around asking if you'd like a drink while at the pool - they could do great business if they did. Breakfast dishes didn't mention whether they were vegetarian - so I missed out on those each day. Beach is super close but not an amazing beach (compared to Australia). Staff went to my mum's room late at night banging on the door, telling her that a bill needed to be paid. It would have made sense that the dinner bill could be paid in the morning as my mum was staying another week at that point. I had to leave my room and come down to rescue her. The first room I was given has a view of a wall - fortunately I managed to change this 2 days later. Overall, nice hotel bug staff need better training.

We had a wonderful time here. Great location on the beach, but with 3 great pools too. Room was lovely. Staff were constantly helpful. Decent breakfast with plenty of options. Afternoon tea was a nice touch too. The grounds were absolutely stunning and perfectly maintained.

Very minor point, but there were a lack of sunny spots near the pools. We usually found one near the main pool, but the other two the loungers were all shaded. Perhaps the umbrellas could have been moved / taken down but they were the big ones and we didn't want to mess with them.
