Mansion Alcazar

Hotel confused me for my sister who had a separate reservation. Even though I have platinum status she received the upgraded room. We had identified this at the time of checkin. Service by hotel staff was way beyond expectations. We had two non hotel issues and hotel staff went out of their way to resolve. Can’t say enough about the staff. Breakfast items were limited in types but items all were high quality so it balances out.

The best part of my stay eas the staff - they were incrredibly helpful.

the complimentary upgrade we received from a heritage room (deluxe king suite) which I found dark and poorly equipped to a modern spacious apartment with incredible views of the nearby domes was so appreciated. Staff were very kind and thoughtful. Fabulous location.

the initial room didnt work for me as it was cold, cramped and dark. The upgrade thanks to Manager Nina was deeply appreciated.

Great location. Staff was very accommodating. Upgraded to modern wing which was a huge upgrade. Breakfast was ok at best. Overall, very satisfied. I would return.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay more than perfect! The hotel and property is so pretty and well kept! Nina, the general manager and her staff took care of every little details to make our weekend gateway a dream! I will come back to Cuenca just to stay here again. Thank you again for everything!
