Quality Inn Hastings

There was no elevator; the atmosphere was masked with Pine-Sol, as were the rooms, two steps up from a campsite, one commode was loose & not secure to the floor, and one tub had an approximate 6-7 inch hole heavily caulked & patched. Tiny bugs of some type similar to gnats, cleanliness was marginal, lighting in one bathroom poor, missing lightbulbs, in dire need of an upgrade, upon arrival outside of the building in disrepair, the lobby smelled like dinner was ready, one remote required batteries, the two-night stay was expensive and not worth the $700 for two rooms. Service repairs requested on the commode, which was dangerous to sit on, were made at the desk & told it would be addressed, but it wasn't. Not handicap accessible, we were very disappointed with our stay, one small child running rampant & creating havoc in her pathway. I expect a considerable refund & will be contacting my credit card company for assistance on this stay. NOT a great experience after traveling 7 hours to a place like this. The breakfast options were also a bare minimum.😞

The property said smoke free but my room smelled of smoke.

Not sure why there is a high rating for this hotel. Very run-down. Requested a handicap accessible room and they tried to give us a room on the 2nd floor (no elevator). We were able to get a room on the 1st floor though. Smelled like pinesol or marijuana. Floors and sheets in the room were dirty.

It was very loud in the building, with does being slammed all hours of the night, kids stomping in the room above us, and someone had a big barking dog. The room had a sour smell to it and when you walked on the floors barefoot within seconds your feet were black. I would not recommend staying here. The location was good but other than that not recommended.

One of my rooms has roaches

Our check in went very well, unfortunately we found out later that the shower was inoperable. The spout shower activator did not work. The hotel feels and looks run down and in need of an update. this place does not deserve as high a rating as it has.

Stay was average. Our bathroom was dirty, moldy, and the door was broken like it had been licked in.

There was nowhere to park. The pool and pool area was not very clean
