Avlon House Bed & Breakfast

Very nice room.Clean with lots of space.Better than most hotels I have stayed at in Ireland.

b&b was great, had a little trouble finding it with google maps.

Nice looking clean place. The host was helpful with directions and sights to see. But the beds were not comfortable. The reason we were in Ireland was for wedding. In the morning we ate at the b&b, then about 20 min later, on our drive to Dublin, my husband had to pull over and vomit. I was also really nauseous. Overall I’d give it a 2.5 out of 5

I cannot recommend this place high enough. Tom (the owner) goes that extra mile to make you feel at home. Breakfast is awesome. Situated just over half a mile from Carlow centre, you can work up an appetite walking in for evening meal. I will book in every time I am in the area.

Best b&b have ever stayed in. Attention to detail was to a very good standard, even the small touches that you wouldn’t get anywhere like - spare toothbrush, shower caps etc that you wouldn’t normally fine. Best part was the breakfast. Choice was really good and was extremely tasty! Would def recommend! 😀

This was the best B&B we stayed at during our trip. Outstanding attention to detail by the host - fantastic breakfast, great location (10 minute walk downtown), beautiful modern house with very comfortable bedrooms. Lots of parking.
