It was spotless lovely smell as you walked in, no staff available but instructions emailed with key code etc. It was a lovely weekend break short walk onto town. A bit dodgy by park area I wouldn't want to walk there alone at night, lot of unsavoury characters. But otherwise all very good. Would recommend and would book again. Nice cafe for good breakfast few minutes walk away.

I was surprised to receive an email with self check in details. It does not state anywhere obvious on the booking details that this property has self check in. My partner has mental health and anxiety diagnosis. We would not have booked the property, in the knowledge it was self check in. The email we received regarding the self check in was full of grammar and spelling mistakes. It was extremely unprofessional. The room was so small, my partner had difficulties moving around the room, without bumping her elbows, hips or bottom. The bedding, (quilt cover) had several holes in it and was not in the condition you would expect. We requested additional pillows upon arrival - by texting Jenny - as per all the signs throughout the property. She was unable to provide the pillows until the next day. Meaning that our first night's stay was far from comfortable. The room was unbearably hot - we requested a fan on the evening of arrival. Again, this was not delivered until the following day. Adding to our discomfort. The property was on the main road. It was busy at all times of the day and night. The traffic noise, constant police sirens, loud exhausts and motorbikes kept us awake/ woke us up throughout our stay. We were asked to empty our own bins into a communal bin on the landing. Which, by Wednesday, was over flowing. We were expected to change our own cups, glasses and put any crockery or cutlery used in the dishwasher. We did not book self catering. The lamp provided in the room was flickering and dangerous. I informed Jenny - by calling her. However she was not available to look into this until the next day and did not have a spare lamp on site - or a member of staff to deal with this on site. We were provided with 2 small bottles of water, two cans of Sprite and two packets of biscuits when we arrived. These were not replenished throughout the week. However;....

ROOM WAS VERY SMALL BUT EVERYTHING ELSE WAS OK

WALKING UP AND DOWN STAIRS FILLING KETTLE PLUS THIN WALLS NEIGHBOURS WERE TO LOUD AND HOST WAS MISSING

The room was spacious, clean and had a little seating area with lovely couch. The en suite bathroom looked brand new with a good shower. We also had 2 tv's - one to watch from the seating area and one to watch from the bed. A little fridge was provided with complementary water, milk, biscuits, tea and coffee. The property was in a good position, a 10 minute walk to the town and beach

The wall between rooms 1 and 2 was very thin so any noise from next door could be heard. The bed was a bit soft in the middle.

With in walking distance from the beach. And the bars and restaurants

The location was perfect and instructions was very straightforward. We loved the room we will definitely return.

Comfortable well located hotel. Good facilities especially microwave in dining area and fridge in room with some welcome drinks . Helpful hosts with flexible self check in and parking.
