Spectacular view. Surrounded by mountains. The resort is well-maintained, and clean; staff are courteous and hospitable.

The Italian food is bad. We ordered linguine, and it took a while to be served. When they served the pasta, it was mushy and not al dente. We returned it; luckily, the food charge was waived.

The beach was amazing. Pool was huge. Oddly enough my favorite part was the abundant supply of pool towels. Sometime hotels feel like they gate keep pool towels and hadn’t realized until now how much friction that caused, which isn’t the case here.

Food was pricey for what you get. And I found the menu limited.

The location was fabulous. We loved the turtle conservation and release of baby turtles.

The food and drinks were RIDICULOUSLY overpriced. As were the tour prices - hugely inflated to the point of extortion . There was a wedding function going on in the public area with loud music till after 9pm which we found disturbing

Some things just weren’t quite right - no place to grab a coffee and sit on the beach, had to walk to the pool bar for a drink from the beach, food and drink took a long time although the hotel was not full, no trash cans or dirty towel bins so people just left things everywhere and staff didn’t pick them up quickly, no shower by the beach, hair dryer was terrible - manual push and cord is not long enough, lots of staff coming to you, but not organized or coordinated so things were just not tight service-wise. Menu is limited for dinner, but the hotel down the road had a wonderful dinner that we enjoyed. It needs some refinement, but nothing they can’t address.

Good location next to the beach and the boat service to the underground river. Quiet and spacious grounds. Friendly staff

Service at the restaurant was very slow at lunchtime with several items not available. There seemed to be a lack of clear communication between the kitchen and waiting staff. Food took a long time to be served.

It is clean, nice beachfront location, nice pools

It is very expensive. Elevator was out of order the whole time. Jacuzzi is roomy, but should be warmer. Breakfast choices did not include life healthy salads. Except for a very limited salad bar. Everything is fried or very oily. Coffee is really really bad. I guess their bean is just a poor quality.
