The Ormond At Tetbury

We had a wonderful 2 night stay in May - not only was this a great base for our trip around the Cotswolds, the staff were so happy and helpful with everything. We had 2 great meals, and 2 superb breakfasts, and everyone in the exhausting heat! Thank you!

First of all, the staff were all very friendly and helpful 10/10 for them and the food was good. Tetbury is a lovely little place and the hotel is well situated for access to town. Unfortunately we left totally exhausted after 2 nights spent with very little sleep as our room was extremely hot and no air-conditioning, the fan was no match for the temperatures. Sadly the constant stream of traffic right outside our window which needed to stay open due to the heat also stopped us sleeping. I will not be returning to this hotel based on this experience.

Clean comfortable room, fan in room, on very hot day, which was welcome.

It's a pity the Ormond has no parking. But I was expecting that. I thought the bath towel was a bit small. Coffee at breakfast was not particularly good. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Dinner was delicious. All the staff were very friendly and efficient. Outdoor seating area was nice.

I'm anti - smoking but it was made worse because the young people smoking had no ash trays so left their cigarette ends on the table.
