Great holiday,the reception staff were very friendly and happy to answer and rectify any issues especially Ahmed who went way and above expectations 😀 The rooms were slightly dated but large and cleaned daily which you can't fault . Food was plentiful I did prefer the breakfast as there was lots on offer ,we were half board so I was disappointed that you had to buy a drink even water 💧with your meal maybe they should change that. Great location strip a 10 min walk and beach 15 mins from hotel. No fighting wars for a sunbed which was a massive bonus as this is always an issue when abroad . Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning. All was great even bar staff 😁who I should have mentioned earlier .

Our last day here tomorrow, booked last minute via Jet2 for the May school holidays. The hotel is in a great location short walk to many bars and resturants, 3 pools with plenty of sun beds. No sun bed wars! The staff are very friendly and polite, rooms cleaned daily and grounds very well maintained. Speaking with other visitors most are people that have been coming here for years, it certainly has a family cosy feel to the place. Kids club has been a god send for the odd rainy day we've had and daughter 8 loved going. We booked half board as it was only 100 extra so just covering breakfast was my expectation however we have stayed a couple of evenings for the buffet dinner and it's been fine, with so many very reasonably priced resturants near by though we went out most days/nights. We ate at the pool bar most days all very nice. All in all great value for money, first time in Greece and will definitely look to come back again. Thanks for a great stay!

A very cozy, home-like place. The hotel grounds are beautifully green, filled with pleasantly fragrant roses, and feature two-story sections. The rooms are very clean and quite spacious, with lovely little balconies where you can enjoy delicious Greek wine in the evenings. Ours had a mountain view. Dinner was incredibly tasty with a varied menu and delicious desserts, including some dried fruits. The sea is about a 10–15 minute walk away. But what impressed us the most was the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff at the reception as well as the room hygiene staff. Special thanks to Konstantina and Ahmed—it was truly a pleasure interacting with them.

Wow great hotel we went for a family holiday with partners family and was amazing and clean and had cleaners in a lot which was perfect for us and good size pools and also great food for a range would be good idea if you want a great hotel thank you would come again

We booked our holiday with jet2 for 10 nights half board. We paid extra for a family room. It was supposed to be an open plan room as we took my disabled Grandson and he won't sleep in a room of his own. What we got was a room with 2 beds and another box room with 2 small beds which my husband spent 10 days with his feet hanging off. The bathroom was a small room with shower cubicle with a mouldy shower curtain. The fridge was filthy full of mould. The flat screen tv we should have got was a small box tv which didn't work properly. The food was rank we had breakfast once and dinner about 5 times it was cold and in my opinion not safe to eat. I have complained to jet2 who have said we actually was upgraded to a suite, really! Also said there have been no other complaints, everyone was complaining. Cats everywhere weaving around your legs and jumping up when you ate outside. This hotel is definitely not a 3 star plus it's lacking basic health and hygiene . Saying that the staff were friendly and the cleanest place was the bar area. The hotel seriously needs bringing up to standard. We definitely won't be staying there again. I have uploaded pictures of what we expected and the reality of what we got.

We have visited this hotel 8 times and sadly this will be the last. We have always loved this hotel but this year the standards have slipped so badly. The main concern was the food or lack of it and I'm talking about stale bread,only slimy marg, tomato soup for four days made with powder and lumps of undissolved powder in it, tiny pieces of fatty meat on bones etc and it was only after enough people complained to the Jet 2 rep that things did improve.. There appeared to be a lack of staff as dirty plates were piling up. Our room was "cleaned" by the same cleaner as one of the recent reviewers. A filthy stained toilet and shower although this was fixed after showing a manager a photo of the toilet. And as for the cats. Yeah they were all around. The entertainment was mixed. It's really sad because this was always a great hotel, a bit dated but beautifully situated and so peaceful but not for us anymore.It desperately needs some money spent on it ,modern TVs,WiFi, updated showers. Management please listen

We chose this hotel based on positive reviews and it being half board. The food was terrible, warm at best and often overcooked (this was due to it being the previous days leftover warm ups). Prices as bar varied depending on who served you and time. Rooms were not cleaned thoughly and our bathroom silicone sealant had turned black and smells come from the drain. The toilet had never seen bleach and was filthy. We spoke to the manager about concerns but he just shrugged and nothing changed. The Jet2 rep said she had never received any complaints which was a lie as we and others told her on the previous week. The pool area was never hosed or brushed for the full two weeks we were there and was filthy. Positives were the pool was nice and plenty of loungers.

Just returned from 2 weeks at this lovely hotel. Good location midway between Stalis Centre and Malia. Both centres are easily walkable in about 20 minutes but there are plenty of shops and taverna enroute. For a half board hotel in Greece the food was very good. Breakfast was lovely with a good selection of both hot and cold food. We didn’t intend to have evening meal as we love eating out but ended up eating in 7 times. The evening meal had a good selection of both Greek and English food and the restaurant is outdoors so you don’t get a canteen feel about it. Pool area was fine and we never had a problem getting a sunbed. Bar staff were great, prices were reasonable especially during happy hour when prices were 4 euros for 2 beers or a beer and a wine. Hotels on the bus route so getting around was easy. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Rooms are clean and serviced regularly. Breakfast and dinner were served as buffet meals; they were plentiful and varied. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The TV in the room was an old 80s type probably around a 12" screen, very hazy and very limited channels. There were only two electrical sockets (one of which was for the TV) and both were on the opposite side of the room. None at the bedside. The hotel should be renamed "The Cattery" I know it's common to see cats on hotel grounds however there were so many of them, especially at mealtimes and it was commonplace to have one attempting to rub itself up against you at the dinner table, making for a not fully enjoyable dining experience. There was also a dog to the tear of the hotel, on an adjoining property which barked loudly every single night and constantly disturbed our sleep. I was also shocked at the price of some drinks at the bar; €4.20 for a cappuccino, €2.70 for a 200ml glass, half filled with ice and a squirt of sprite; 3 star hotel at 4 star prices. In spite of the above we had a hood holiday but would probably not stay there again.

We arrived at 11.30pm and were given a sandwich with an apple but no drink and we were shown to a basic very worn room, after a restless night on a rockhard bed we went to reception and konstantina who was a delight arranged for toppers for our beds which solved the problem, I mentioned our room was very overlooked as we were on a general pathway and everyone looked in our room so konstantina kindly arranged a room change with our comfy toppers to an upstairs room with a more private balcony, the room was even more basic with a 12” grey tv from the 80’s but spotless so all was good. After a good breakfast we went to the great pool areas with plenty of sun beds and everywhere was very clean with friendly staff. The evening meals were ok but no Greek food unfortunately until our last night when we had moussaka . The evening entertainment was hit and miss so most of the hotel residents went into stalls with just a handful left watching. The bar staff were great but the bar prices were very overpriced compared with stalls bar prices. The Anastasia is a gem of a hotel with a few things that let it down the biggest being the lack of a courtesy room, Leyla on reception informed me when I requested a courtesy room that there wasn’t one and we couldn’t keep our room on and we could have a cold shower in public by the pool and dress in the toilets , I told her this wasn’t acceptable and she was a little rude and not bothered so I spoke to Georges a gentleman with a beard I found out was the area manager who was shocked about the cold shower and expected to change in the toilets he said he would look into this and hopefully find a solution, i hope he will sort this.I was a bit more fortunate than most as he arranged for me to keep my room on but this did cost me €40 ( an expensive shower), I witnessed a lot of people trying to sort the same with leyla and get the brunt of her rudeness, one lady in her 70’s was quite tearful so we let her have a shower in our room as she had an earlier flight to ours. Thanks to konstantina for your kindness and professionalism and also Maria who was always happy and helpful and to most of the staff
