I enjoy the authentic Mexican vibe of the Irma and the architectural details, especially the design of the central stairway. There's also beautiful plants inside and out. The dining experience is wonderful and the view from my room was stellar. I would have liked a small desk, microwave and refrigerator in my room. The WiFi was unreliable at times. It easy access to the beach and town.

Always spotless. Super friendly staff & two nice swimming pools. The BEST view of the bay. No elevator and the famous “heart attack hill” makes it a bit of a challenge walking but worth the effort.

"Lots of stairs"

Stairs, Lots of them, If you’re not capable of climbing stairs or steep grades you may want to find somewhere else of practice before you go. Other than that great staff and views, close to town with a beach boardwalk the while way. Safe and quiet city with lots to do.

Located on a steep hill. If you have any kind of disability this is not the place for you. No elevator and there are 6 floors. No fridge in the room. Pool chair cushions are super dirty. Having said all that we enjoyed our stay because the staff is awesome and it’s Zihuat which is amazing! If you are capable of walking it is located only about 10 minutes away from the excitement. Cabs are cheap though.

staff lovely, food wonderful, location perfect

my only real complaint: the room key didn't work so i wasn't able to lock door from outside ( an internal latch let me lock door when i was inside room). i asked to be moved and wasn't, so never felt safe leaving my things unattended. other than this all was good.

Excellent staff and views, Close to town with a beach boardwalk all the way in. One issue some may have is stairs, there is no elevator and there are plenty of stairs and a steep grade up the hill coming from town. If these are an issue book somewhere else or practice on some stairs at home a few months before your trip.
