The criticisms of the rooms are all valid. They are outdated and need to be updated, but mine was also clean and comfortable enough. That said, I would stay here again. The main reason is the views. They simply can’t be beat. The view from my balcony and the pools and restaurant was spectacular. Staff and service were good, too. One thing: If you have mobility issues, this is not the place for you. On the other hand, you’ll get in your cardio.

Not good. With service fees and taxes, the cost was $170. No ocean view. Very old and not well maintained. Staff was very uncaring. Do not recommend. Free coffee was very weak. Happy hour drinks were weak. We didn't try the restaurant. There is a coke can on the patio from last night.

Hotel Manager LaPita is fantastic as she daily walks the open areas of the hotel and greets every guest and inquires if there is anything they require? Very professional and polite as well as the staff. Thxs for making our stay by treating us like family. R&C&G S

The property is an older property, not the fanciest but the location is amazing, the bed was comfortable, the staff was helpful and cheerful despite my very limited Spanish language skills and the air conditioning worked. What more could you ask? There are a lot of stairs, but I knew this when I chose the hotel, so it was expected. The only minor complaint that I would have it the lack of a refrigerator and coffee pot in the room, but I also knew this when I chose the hotel, so it was not expected. They do have free coffee in the morning, and we had the breakfast included so it was a good start to the day. For us, the pros of the property far outweigh the cons.

I loved the infinity pool. It would have been much better if it was a bit heated though like they do in Sayulita. Liked the view the best.

From the day I checked in, I requested a room lower than the 6th floor with no elevator since my husband has a hard time with simply walking and certainly with stairs. Every day they told me they would let me know when a lower room came available to switch too. They never let us change despite my husband's condition from a recent 3 month stay in the hospital. It wasn't until a friend saw a room open on the 3rd floor and went to the manager that they finally let us move to a lower room with fewer steps to climb up and down. Also, they never fixed our phone up on the 6th floor so we could not call down for room service or to check on a new room. I reminded them everyday. Each day they acted as if it were the first time hearing about our issues. The food was marginable.

Loved the view, the pool area, Spa was wonderful. Room was a bit sparse, but, ok. The friendliest staff ever! Cristo and Daniel were the best waiter and bartenders ever!

The breakfast was great. The service ranged from great to mediocre in the restaurant and bar. Great location to the town.

Frankly, we didn't like anything about the hotel and room. Even the view was obstructed with stick on decals

There wasn't much to like. The room was bare bones and everything made of cement painted with a brown terrible color. There was no desk chair and the manger said to take the crappy plastic chair from the balcony and sit at a cement shelf which I guess was the desk but it had no outlets for computers or phones. They gave us no blankets and we had to use beach towels to keep warm because you absolutely needed to use the air conditioning. The plumbing was bad with faulty faucets. There were bare bulbs on the walls and no lamps. No half refrigerator, the internet was very bad so the small TV kept cutting out. We needed to put rubber covers over the shower drain and floor drain for the toilet or it smelled. We called Booking .com to complain and finally got approval from the hotel manager to leave after 2 days. We spent the worse two days in that place. Oh, the manager was there on the front steeps to greet us while she puffed away on a cigarette. Something she was doing ever time we got a glimpse of her. It has been 14 days now and I have NOT gotten a refund for the 5 day refund that Booking .com promised . I needed to make a long distance call to London because Booking.com's toll free number does work any more. It cost me a ton to make the call because I was on hold for 40 minutes. I have to now change my T-mobile account to add on international access because I need to keep calling Booking.com until they pay my $1,200+ refund which they have and are holding.
