De styling van het hotel is prachtig gedaan... van de lobby met zijn vele indrukken, tot de doorloop met de waterpartijen en het fantastisch mooie dakterras met zwembad... ook de food op het dakterras en de cocktails waren heel lekker! En het hotel is super goed gelegen, vlak bij de actie van Getsemani, maar net nog wel buiten de oude omwalde stad.

We kregen bericht van het hotel dat we voor een lage prijs een 'upgrade' konden krijgen... omdat het onze honeymoon was, dachten we, waarom niet... bleek dat de upgrade was dat het bed bovenop de douchecabine was en dat je daar met een gammel trapje naartoe moest klimmen... daardoor had je dus ook geen ruimte en sliep je haast met je gezicht tegen het dak... totaal niet comfortabel... De airco was op of af, niet regelbaar, dus ofwel klappertanden ofwel zweten, maar geen tussenin... verder is er maar 1 klein liftje waardoor je steeds zeer lang moest wachten om dit te kunnen gebruiken, want ook het personeel gebruikt dat ene liftje...

Hotel Lola was everything we expected and more! It was a wonder experience, the staff was friendly and welcoming! Luis and Harold were very helpful and polite. Will definitely revisit and recommend to others.

This beautiful hotel was my favourite part of the trip. It’s stunning everywhere you look, the class and attention to detail are incredible, the service is superb. It was a place I felt I could truly relax, unwind and just soak up the beautiful surroundings. Also make sure to enjoy the onsite mini spa! Plus right in the heart of Getsemaní, just as pretty as the walled city with half the tourists and a 10 minute walk to the city. Special thanks to the staff especially Haro, Christian, Luis, Bettania.

We had such a lovely evening! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious, and our waiter Sergio G. made the entire experience even more special. He was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. His fantastic service truly elevated the night. Thank you for a wonderful dinner—we’ll definitely be coming back!

Wonderful hotel. Great location in the heart of lively Getsemaní area - lots of great bars and restaurants close by and yet they still manage to create an oasis of calm and tranquility. The hotel has lots of character - interior decor is beautiful, thoughtful and creative. Great restaurant, delicious cocktails and great breakfast and the service from the entire team was outstanding from check-in to checkout - welcoming, friendly and very helpful - particularly the team serving breakfast, Cristian on the front desk who helped us book great tour to the Rosarios islands, and Jailer - and of course Harold who organised our airport transfer, checked us in and immediately made us feel welcome and week looked after - but the whole team were brilliant. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone - including those looking for an LGBT friendly place in Cartagena: We are a gay couple and, while there are plenty of LGBT friendly places to stay in the city, we felt positively and enthusiastically welcomed here. Thank you Casa Lola for making our stay in Cartagena so delightful!
