Friendly and helpful staff, good location, quiet.

Hotel feels tired and in need of a freshen up. Could feel the springs on the mattress.

Room spacious with 2 chairs. Excellent parking. Characterful bar with good range of Moulin ales. Breakfast in baronial hall full of artefacts from the past (although shutters closed at breakfast detracted). Tartan carpets!

Had to be careful with sloping ceiling.

Over all a very comfortable, friendly hotel with excellent staff.

Menu quite standard, all though the meals available were excellent.

Tired decor and carpets. The single room had a poor old matress and springs could be felt through it. The showers had very poor weak flow and the head would not stay in place in the double room we had.

Spacious rooms, traditional look (especially the dining room), staff friendly.

A little mix up re drinks order at dinner but kindly resolved.
