Romantik Hotel Wilden Mann Luzern

A hotel that has preserved the atmosphere of old Europe, both in the room and in the public areas. Extremely comfortable beds. Good location. Breakfast, everything that was in the buffet was very good, but one could not ask for eggs other than what was in the buffet - boiled or scrambled eggs. The main reason, if not the only one, that kept me from rating the hotel with a full score was that in the shower, water became too hot or too cold on its own again and again, something I would not expect from a four-star hotel.

We only stayed at the Hotel Wilden Mann for 2 nights as part of a trip, but we wished we had booked more nights! The hotel is very quirky and interesting in it's own right. But it is also situated about 8 minutes from the main station & in the old town making it fantastic for exploring. The staff were very welcoming & helpful & we enjoyed being able to access everything direct from the hotel including the old town & the lake. Breakfast was good with plenty to choose from & friendly attentive service. We would recommend the hotel & hope to return.

good location, clean, breakfast was decent.

Hotel does not have own parking place! they give some direction to nearby public parking with 30CHF a day. It's difficult to find parking space, very limited space for car. I've ask for a 1 queen/king bed and receive 2 separate but put close together.

We stayed two nights in February. One of the nicest hotel rooms we have ever stayed in, full of old swiss charm and quality. The staff were so helpful and we would rebook next time we are in Lucerne.
