Paradise Isle Beach Resort

Very poor management, inexperienced staff who needs to be trained interns of how to talk to guests. It's 1:50 pm, and still the room is not ready for guests to enter.Not a pleasant entry experience.... I have to stay for few days here let's see how the stay is going to be.

Rooms are pretty bad / broken stuff.

No. Never. I would never suggest anyone to come and stay here who are spending so much of their time and money for having a quality time with their loved ones. The hotel looks clean and shiny from outside but inside its a completely different and not at all maintained. Lights aren't enough. Furniture and fixtures are broken and hanging. They give only extra mattress to sleep on the floor, no foldable bed. So if you need an extra bed to accommodate yourself in the same room, you will be given on side beg mattress to adjust yourself. Spider web in the bathroom. No proper support or handle, is given to get in or get out from the bath tub when u go for your normal bath(not the dipping in the bath tub). So if getting inside or coming out you have to be cereful as you might fall off due to slippery floor. No floor mat to dry your feet s you come out of tye bath tub. No hand towel. No food refil available even you go during breakfast hours. They would politely say, "sorry ma'am." Unwelcoming manager /staff at the Ocean View Restaurant. We went for dinner. The Manger was very reluctant in suggesting their best selling dishes. Food is below average. Can't say good food. Breakfast options are very little and inadequate in terms of quantity and varieties. Big NO.

The Paradise Isle stay was Fabulous and worth every penny. The room, property, view, hospitality, food and service is 5 star. The family enjoyed the beach, pool and food. The restaurant and its team were always helpful and have been a Joy to interact. The evenings are the best time to have a quiet chat by the beach. If you want Peace of mind and family time, then this is the place to be.

Management was nothing less than a nightmare that refused in the most nasty and verbally abusive manner to accommodate my disability which they guaranteed on the phone prior. Most greedy and fraudulent hotel I have ever stayed in my life. The General Manager yelled at me for over 2 hours for even having a back problem and refused to return my advance payment before check in. Director Manohar is no different and made this a real prison sentence which was intended as a 20 year anniversary. Biggest tourist trap in Udupi. Criminal conduct and we will seek legal recourse for first time in our life do no other guest suffers like we did. They even retaliated with the tea the next morning. If we drank it, we would be in the hospital. Extremely dangerous place behind the beautiful backdrop. BEWARE. Stay in Manipal and take taxi for $3-4 20 minutes to Malpe.

It's a good resort. The location is awesome. Just opposite the Malpe sea beach. Lots of car parking enclosed area. No issue with the security. Breakfast is good. People are helpful. We stayed in a deluxe sea-view room for 3 nights and 3 days. There are two types of sea-view rooms. One with a balcony and another one without. Without a balcony is a big room.
