I recently had the pleasure of staying here, and I must say it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The service at Chateau de Chine is great. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist. The beds at Chateau de Chine are a dream come true! I've never experienced such a perfect balance of softness and support. After a day of exploring Taipei, sinking into those comfortable beds was pure bliss. It's evident that the hotel takes great care in providing guests with a restful night's sleep. One of the highlights of my stay was the luxurious bath. The design and amenities of the bathroom were top-notch. The deep soaking tub was a welcome retreat, providing a relaxing escape after a day of sightseeing. What amazed me most was the tranquility of the hotel. Despite being located in the bustling city of New Taipei City, the rooms were remarkably quiet. I appreciated the peaceful ambiance, allowing me to unwind. When I checked in, I was told by the Front Office staff since I have reserved a room which is already the highest category for a Twin Bed room, so I do not get an upgrade. This is different from what I understand and what I have been given form other hotels. So, I learned something new for Chateau de Chine. Other than this, the room is generally bigger than those in Taipei City and is very clean. Transporatation is OK as it is close to the MRT Station, but you need to change MRT lines ot get to many places. Overall, consider the price, it is still a reasonable place to stay.

Just a 5 min walk from Touqianzhuang metro station from exit 1. Room is spacious and clean. Staff can do better by being more warm and smile instead of keeping a straight face.

One of the best hotel you can choose to stay when visiting Taipei. It’s located near a metro station and several bus stops. Only concern is the wifi is quite spotty at times even within your own room.

Overall, the stay is great but the wifi in room can be improved. Free happy hour every night is great but more beer glasses should be provided.

This hotel was very nice for my family and I. The hotel itself and the rooms are very clean, comfortable, and filled with amenities. We were very pleased with the breakfast, available gym, and accommodations. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to two different metro lines. A 20 minute walk gets you to many shops, markets, parks, restaurants,.etc. The area felt safe and easy to navigate.
