Chateau de Chine Xinzhuang

Liked the corner office table and chair area, very practical, the shower walk-in, the windowed wall to washroom with blind, made it feel more open, and the bed was comfortable with the soft pillows. TV was a nice size and enjoyed stay.

Even with a late show to the hotel the staff were extremely friendly to get us all settled in and to put room. A weeks stay that was not long enough. a clean room always to come back to after a long day or walking around everywhere to see as much as we could. if we’re able to, we will be back.

Breakfast included was good. The aisle to the guest room was quite dim. Parking driveway is very narrow.

I'll try to keep it brief. I've stayed in just a couple hotels in Taiwan so I can't compare to too many. The hotel itself isn't that bad in quite a few ways. You can wash your own clothes for free if you do it yourself. The staff speaks decent English, if you need them to. Also, the price isn't bad if you need a hotel near MRT. It's cheaper than staying in straight up Taipei. However, there are also quite a few things I disliked about the hotel. 1. Rusty nails and falling apart pieces of the room. 2. The rooms aren't very sound-proof, and they hold LOUD banquets and weddings all the time. You can often hear music blaring loudly until very late. 3. The night staff is by far inferior to whoever works in the daytime. The employees who work nights are inattentive, incompetent, and sometimes downright rude. I once went downstairs to pickup some delivered food in some comfortable (though not good looking) clothes, as I was settling into the night. The men and women behind the desk started audibly commenting and laughing about my appearance. When I turned around, making it obvious I could hear them, they acted like they weren't doing anything. 4. Not many (accessible) outlets in the room. 5. Inattentive cleaning staff. I once came into my room after it was supposedly cleaned up, and found our pillows tossed onto the floor. 6. A bit more nit-picky, but wifi straight up stinks too.

I like the hotel and enjoyed my stay in there .the staff are very helpful and friendly. This hotel has a lot of facilities that will help travellers. You can even do foreign currency exchange in the hotel. Although the hotel is a little bit far from other busy place such as Ximen area but this hotel is close to the subway station and bus stop just steps away.

Good service and views. They upgraded us to a larger room which was also much appreciated! Breakfast buffet was delicious. Wish we could've taken advantage of the other amenities more.

Was located well in between two metro stations. Staff were friendly. Quite and nice sized room. Nice bathtub.
