Good quiet place to stay

Great Hotel for business trips. Convenient location. Clean.

Upon check in I was given a room type that was not the same that I had booked and paid for. Upon showing the booking the front desk staff was able to help changed my room closer to other family members! It is a nice hotel and this was my second stay. I would stay here again when I visit Chicago again!!

The hotel itself was in good condition. Very clean and convenient. My stay was for 3 nights and I had 2 reservation covering the 3 nights. On the night of check in, the front desk staff cancelled my 2nd reservation and I had to deal with hotels.com to rebook it. I had to waste 2-3 hours on the phone to sort this out even though it was not my mistake.

Its in a convenient location and I feel safe in the location.

The room was clean when we arrived but did not have any maid service even though we asked for it. We ran out of TP, paper towels, and clean towels, had to approach the maid directly. Decorator was color blind. The bathroom floor tiles were quite poorly laid and it needed caulking by the shower. Couch fabric was scratchy and had no arms. The bathroom sink drain was slow, and toilet was too. But the bed was really comfortable, we liked the layout and the kitchen, and the look of the hotel common areas and the location. It was so cool to be able to move the TV 180 degrees to face either the bed or the couch.

I had previously stayed here before but the hotel is now showing a lot of wear and tear and have a musty smell.

Overall great experience. 100% Hyatt house people now
