Summit Beach Resort by Resort Collection

All elevators were broken bathroom shower was broken nobody came fix it and we didn’t get another room nor did we get a refund and we had to walk up and down 16 flights of stairs because they couldn’t get anyone to fix elevators and we got a non smoking room but it was cleaned so poorly we walked in and it smelt like straight cigarettes and we even found butts by all the beds

We had the best time at summit. Great location right on the beach. Will stay here again. Front beak staff was awesome

Horrible experience from beginning to end! Took 12 hours to get into our condo even the office closed down the condo was so dated. It was not stocked. No toilet paper the doors wouldn’t shut. Drawers were missing in the kitchen! Box TVs. Staff was rude! We were not the only only ones with these issues there was at least 10 others waiting one group was called and told they overbooked and had to go elsewhere.

Slow elevators, no AC in elevators, outdated facility, insufficient staff who knows what their doing, slow slow checkin. No help guaranteed. Terrible stay.

I purchased laundry detergent and cleaning products to clean due to the cleanliness unexceptionable. There was mold and the air filter needs to be changed.

Room extremely nice and spacious. Need all elevators working properly.

We had a great time at this location, no complaints this way. Looking forward to a revisit very soon

Arrived before check in time just to see if the room was ready, was informed that the room was not and would be after 4. Not a problem, I arrived back to be told it was ready and would be a while but they allowed my family to use the pool and beach area. Hours later (by hours I mean 9pm) our room is finally ready. We get to the room and it is terrible. It smells like mold and urine. The furniture is wet from moisture and there is a smelly dehumidifier running. The bathrooms and bunks had mold. The balcony door wouldn't open or shut all the way. The room was terrible. The smell in the bedroom was almost as if someone had got up in a drunken state the night before and just urinated on the carpet. This could be believable considering that while my family was waiting, a man passed on on a lounger near us, Then another passed out in the men's room with his pants down. Security had to carry him out and as they were doing this, he puked. I have seen "management" get on sites and try to indicate these type of situations were lies, but I assure you, they are not. The only bright spot (other than the view of the gulf) were the front desk workers. They tried so hard and kept composure while being yelled and called names by so many people over issues that were not their fault, but bad management. I was also promised a $75 discount that was removed at checkout by another man at another resort where I was sent to checkout since the office was closed. I have more...

We were supposed to check in at 4 pm. But it was almost 10 pm. They did compensate but it didnt cover the 5 hours we lost of our vacation. Will not be back
