The Westin Siray Bay Resort & Spa, Phuket

Really enjoyed the stay. Staff was caring throughout. Outstanding hospitality with great food. Loved the surprise upgrade; made our reunion trip even more memorable.

Polluted bay broke our heart. Waste was discarded in the water body and was floating near the beach. We wanted to paddle but the water condition out us off. Hope the local governing body acts on it soon.

Our stay at The Westin Siray Bay was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our experience special—their attention to detail was fantastic. Every interaction felt warm and personalized, making us feel truly valued. The resort itself is stunning, with breathtaking ocean views, beautifully designed rooms, and top-notch facilities. The pools are perfect for relaxation, and the dining options are excellent. Waking up to those incredible sunrises was a highlight! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and will definitely be back. Highly recommend! Location seems to a be a little away from the tourist spots. Also local commute is expensive and limited!

The rooms were spacious and we had plenty of room for 3 people. All of the staff are super friendly (save for the lady who checked us in - very bad experience after a long trip).

The property is very tired and run down. We were informed that renovations are about to start which are long overdue. It really was in a poor state. The TV is old and no Smart TV's.

The staff were happy and tried their best to accommodate the guests.

The hotel is old and decrepit to the point of it being a serious safety hazard. There are broken tiles in the rooms, broken pool railings, broken pool steps, broken toilets in the rooms, old soft beds, no internet access, broken plug point sockets, leaking pipes and fungus ridden wood finishes everywhere. This hotel needs to shut down and stop operating in order to fix these issues. It’s a shame because they have a beautiful view and great staff, however it doesn’t stop the place from being dangerous. The hotel is also far away from most tourist areas, Grab and other taxi apps don’t work after 3pm. The taxis just don’t pick up your ride because it’s too far away.

We stayed at this wonderful hotel from the 7th to the 12th April. We really enjoyed our stay there, facilities were good - accommodation was spacious, comfortable and house keeping was excellent. We enjoyed eating at the hotels restaurants, the quality and variety of the food was super - breakfast buffet was excellent. As the hotel is located on a hill, access to rooms uses a golf buggy - this works very well. Worth mentioning the guys that drive the buggies are wonderful, always smiling and eager to chat with you especially about UK football!! One person who was really helpfully is called Sunny/Sonny(?) - a real star. The hotel is located some distance from Phuket Town, this makes it very quiet and relaxing - excellent! Another advantage of being on hillside is the sea view! Seeing fishing boats departing early morning and returning late afternoon is wonderful. We also saw several sunsets - WOW : image attached! The staff at the hotel are so friendly, engaging and always smiling - they clearly enjoy working at the hotel. The hotel is looking a bit 'tired' in places - paintwork, woodwork etc. However, I gather it will undergo a major refurbishment in a few months - that is a really important activity.
