Pepperclub Hotel

Very loud, making it hard to sleep. Even on a Sunday night, the club across the street was pounding until the wee hours of the morning. And we were on the 11th floor but it was still very noisy. Very nice breakfast —10/10. Pool does not get sunlight after about 3pm due to being on an east facing deck. Very nice sauna. Would have been nice if both the pool and sauna were open later than 9p, perhaps till 10. There is a spa and very nice gym though we did not use either. Very nice rooms. Very nice view of table mountain. Mini fridges in the room were nice. Parking is 150 Rand PER CALENDAR DAY. Also they started doing maintenance on the room adjacent to ours at 7:55 am, waking me up.

A conveniently situated hotel with a very helpful and friendly staff compliment. Even with our short stay we were welcomed and treated well. I would recommend to anyone even for a short getaway. All the facilities are good and the staff were always available to assist when needed.

Great stay at Pepperclub with e most friendly staff you will ever come across. Happy to help always. Great food and service. Rooms very clean and comfortable bed. Also quiet. We used this as a base to go out and see the exciting sites as a good central location to everything. Good free secure parking also. Loved it at Pepperclub. We will be back

We had a fantastic experience. Staying here with an infant was also a superb experience from the supplied cot and bedding to little extras needed. We will be back!

Our stay at Pepperclub Hotel was awesome. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable and the view from our room of Table Mountain was breathtaking. The breakfast spread was vast and scrumptious. Highly recommended.

We ate at Copa restraunt for the Christmas day buffet. The desserts and cheese were at the entrance of the restraunt which seemed an odd place to put it. The starters were a couple of salads, tongue and corned beef slices. The main food was Luke warm and in heated pots which seemed more like a 2 star buffet breakfast, than a 5 star hotel Christmas dinner. There was only one guy serving the meats, Yorkshire puddings, slicing the stuffing and pouring your gravy!! (There was one redwine gravy for all the meats, even the Turkey). By time you got your meats, which were at the end of the buffet counter, the sides were all cold. My meal was microwaved as it was cold. There was no apology from staff, no real interaction from them even when our table wasn't laid properly with cutlery. When we asked for a knife for the cheese and a plate, that's exactly what we got. No plates to eat from just a plate to put cheese on and one knife between 3 of us!!! It was a very disappointing Dinner especially from a 5 star hotel.

I booked this hotel for my family and I for a week and I’m already planning my next return. The service was great, the breakfast had a solid selection and it was in a great location. I didn’t have any issues and the staff was attentive to our every need. I highly recommend, it was great value for money and I feel like the hotel had great attention to detail. My only regret was not staying for longer and making the most of the facilities. Hopefully there will be a next time!

We had 1 night here for our last night in CT but had but this hotel off in the past due to being located in the CBD district as we normally stay right on the V&A waterfront. I can say this is a fantastic hotel, they offer free shuttle service to the V&A waterfront starting at 10am and return 2 hourly and first return from entrance 2 in V&A mall from 12:30 every 2 hours until 20:30. Also Ubers are super cheap and easy to get to if needed if you need to get back earlier costing around 45/70 Rand around £2/£3 each way. The room was super clean comfy and great bathroom with a walk in shower. Our room didn’t have a hairdryer in for my wife but called reception and they handed us one within 10 minutes so they are available. Lots of wardrobe space with a safety deposit box and workspace with TV with DSTV if you fancied watching any TV at night before bed. The hotel offers a spa / gym / pool and a movie theatre room but we couldn’t locate this in the short time (wish we’d found it) The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had on our trip with a very good selection of pastries / cereals / fruits yoghurts etc and a menu for hot breakfast and option for a proper cappuccino/ flat white if needed. I wis we stayed at this hotel on our first trip to SA in July 2024 but so glad we have as we would so stay here again. Good security, key card only allows you up to your floor of your room and floor 8 this is where spa / gym and pool are located. The hotel is decorated stunningly and I do believe parking is either free if you stay or is charged 25 Rand per hour but is a lot of conflicting information around this so couldn’t say 100% certain on this.

An amazing experience with an awesome, friendly, helpful and wonderful team - you will not be disappointed

We only stayed 2 nights and it was booked through a travel agent so we didn’t actually choose it but we were more than happy with our stay. It’s in a good location to easily get a short uber to the main v&a waterfront. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were friendly. Short but sweet stay.
