Pepperclub Hotel

The hotel seems nice, but the phone to call the front desk did not work. The WiFi password that you have to obtain via a QR code did not work. When we brought this to the attention of the desk clerk he acted as though we didn’t know how to use the QR code. It turns out that the password had not been updated. He insisted that he put the password in on my phone. When I insisted that he give me the password, he acted put out. He seemed annoyed that the problem was with the password and not me.

This was a lovely 5 star hotel Rooms clean and beautiful. Only a couple of strange things. There was microwave but no utensils or cutlery. A lovely balcony but no chairs ot no table whatsoever One restaurant but not much choice fot vegetarians Hotel staff lovely and helpful A free shuttle to waterfront which was great

I had a very bad experience with a staff at the bar who was very rude. The staff at the front desk were very pleasant and very helpful. If not for them I would’ve rated staff and serve as horrible! The rooms are very comfortable and neat. I love the rooms. They are luxurious indeed. I noticed my sheets were not changed in a week! I thought this was really bad!! There’s some construction work going on opposite the hotel and this is beyond their control I guess but it makes the front of the hotel dirty and too noisy.

The gym was well equipped with a sauna which caters for both men and women together which a bit awkward

First time in Cape Town and the Pepper Club Hotel was excellent choice. Some noisy building work nearby, but everything else was great, good job.

This hotel was very comfortable. It is in the heart of the city bowl so be prepared for the city aspect. This is what we prefer and why we book. Would stay there again, the staff were excellent and the beds were great!

Nice hotel in the city center, friendly staff and good service. Highly recommended if you are traveling to Cape Town for 3-5 days. Also keep in mind that there are a lot of night clubs and bars near the hotel, so it can be quite noisy.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. From the warm welcome at check-in to the spotless, comfortable rooms, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience, and the amenities were excellent. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore. Truly a five-star experience—highly recommended!

It's a tricky one to pick a rating. The hotel staff are fabulous and breakfast was great. It was in an ideal location and the shuttle serive to the waterfront was fantastic. I really can't fault the effort of the team. We just had a major problem with noise on Saturday and Sunday night until 3am. It was incredibly loud in the room and it was very difficult to sleep. There seemed to be absolutely no sound protection for the windows. I wouldn't recommend this hotel purely for the noise, but as I said everything else was super.
