Sandy and Cathy were lovely hosts, nothing was too much hassle. The room was perfect for myself and the bed was so comfortable, the duck filled duvet was a nice touch. really enjoyed the peacefulness of the cottage. The cottage is beautifully kept. Breakfast was delicious! I really enjoyed my stay, and would recommend it to anyone. I will definitely be back! Thank you so much sandy & Cathy 😊

The owners were wonderful. Fun to talk to and very nice. It is fun with b&b's that you get to meet locals and visitors. The breakfast also very good.

The bathroom was cold. I would put in floor heating!

"Comfortable and welcoming"

Comfortable room, good parking, thoughtful touches (a wine glass appeared when I bought a bottle of wine and left it in the room and cake appeared as a treat one evening)

The shower room was drafty and the shower was a bit low on pressure

Sandy and Cathy were great hosts. The room was great value for money, and a full breakfast, as part of the price, was fantastic. I would highly recommend Shawlee Cottage to anyone visiting the Glasgow area

The Shawlee Cottage is a convenient place to stay when you have a car as it is a short drive to Glasgow and the surrounding areas. The owners Sandy and Cathy make an effort to have a conversation with you around the breakfast table, and they sure do have stories to share. They make your stay very welcoming.
