My room was amazing and the bathroom huge with a wonderful view. The staff/owners were really helpful and nowhere was out of bounds to me with my little dog. There were fabulous walks along the river and the food was superb.

A very small thing - I'd luckily got a business persons deal as I was travelling alone. Sadly I wouldn't have been able to afford to stay if not.

Fabulous location and staff, it feels like staying in a National Trust property and it’s frankly great value!

No proper bar as such and restaurant closed for evening meal.

Breakfast was good but I have had better. The riverside view from my room was great and having walks on the estate a big plus.

When I went for breakfast there was no one to greet me me so I had to go to kitchen to ask.

Ein Haus in dem man sich sofort wohl und Zuhause fühlt in herrlicher Lage am Fluss und in der Natur. Das Zimmer, welches wir bewohnten, ist herrlich groß und geräumig, mit eigenem Kamin und wunderbarem Blick auf den Fluss. Fenster auf zwei Seiten, somit doppelt schöner Ausblick. Das Bett ist groß und sehr bequem, schöne Bettwäsche. Das Haus selbst ist eine Augenweide, Rhubarb, der Hund ist eine süße Zuckerschnute. Sehr freundliches Personal, ausreichend freie Parkmöglichkeiten. Wir werden gern einmal wieder hier her kommen für etwas länger und dann auch die vielversprechende Umgebung und das hauseigene Land erkunden.

The setting is absolutely stunning. The room was large, comfortable and had old world charm. However it also had all the mod cons you could want. Shower was fantastic and WiFi excellent. The host went out of her way to make my stay brilliant.
