Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach - All Inclusive

Our recent stay at Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach in Jamaica was absolutely wonderful, and from the moment we arrived we felt warmly welcomed. Every member of staff we met was efficient, pleasant, and genuinely lovely, which set the tone for a fantastic holiday right from the start. The entertainment team were outstanding and deserve special mention – *Too Short (V‑)*, *Mickey Mouse*, *Red Bull*, *KK*, *Browning*, *Sparkles*, *Skittles*, *Concrete*, *Zeus*, *Big Wayne*, and others whose names we may have missed. Their energy was infectious. Even if you weren’t particularly interested in joining in, they were brilliant at cheering others on or happily leaving you to relax while still stopping for a friendly chat. They created such a fun, inclusive atmosphere throughout our stay. The buffet and restaurant staff, including Karilla, were all so lovely, helpful, and attentive. There was an excellent variety of food available, and even with personal dietary limitations, I never had any issues finding plenty to enjoy. I felt well looked after and really appreciated the effort made by the staff. One especially special highlight was our anniversary meal at the Japanese, which was such fun and made the occasion feel really memorable. Paris' food was amazing, we all enjoyed the evenig - the little touches truly make the experience stand out. By the end of the holiday, all of us felt completely switched off, relaxed, and recharged. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would happily return again. Our only small gripe was feeling a little hassled by concierges after we had already politely declined. Our own concierge fully respected our honesty and decision, as did a second one, but we were still approached repeatedly by others, even into the second week. We understand they have a job to do, and thankfully this did not ruin our stay, but it would have been appreciated if our initial feedback had been noted more widely. Overall, this was a fantastic holiday at Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach, and we would absolutely return again without hesitation.

The service and staff have all been great. The rooms were nicer than expected and the food was great. Lots of events everyday to stay busy and was very accommodating for a large travel group. Felecia the concierge was very helpful and I definitely recommend this resort

The hotel is lovely, the amount / variety of food and bars is really great but what really really makes this hotel is all the staff and entertainers - we honestly miss them! Especially: The entertainers - Finez, Freshhh, V6, Redbull, Too Short and Lady Concrete, the pool and reception bars - Oshaine and Santino but most importantly the sports bar was our favourite - Horrace and Nardia *heart emoji* pls tell them Sasha and Sean Paul say hello. We will be back!

I like the food, the staff and the experience. Damoy, Daniel, Krystal, Javae, Andre, Pauline, all provided wonderful service to me and my wife. I would definitely come back again. It was great!

I think more structured and organized engagement. RIU has an app to show the list of activities daily.

Love, Love, Love that the property is Directly On The Beach! The property is charming, inviting and very well maintained and the amenities are Great!

I know that Conservation efforts are Necessary, but I’m Not a Fan of how the potable water is handled. I don’t have a solution…I just know I Don’t like the current structure. Glass bottles are quite cumbersome, not to mention Extremely Heavy when filled with water. Perhaps a supply of water in the cardboard “bottles” can be provided in the rooms instead of the glass.

Food was great. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Buffet staff was great. À la carte restaurants were ok… food good but staff were ok. Water stations throughout the resort were great (bring a water bottle).

Construction noise at early hours 8am and burning metal smell was strong throughout the day. Beach wasn’t the greatest, sand was ok and water wasn’t as clear as hoped… not many people were in the water. À la carte reservation process was unclear. Do not accept additional concierge help… they just want to get you their sales people for an Iberostar membership (like a time share). Was told we’d get a reservation at one of the à la carte restaurants and that fell through when we didn’t buy.

Our second time at this resort, the last time was 7 years ago. We had an ocean view room on the first floor with a king bed. Everything was clean, and the pillows were good. Had to play with the shower to get the right water temp. Food- we went to the Italian 3 times, Smokehouse 2 times, and the Japanese once. On the Italian and Smokehouse, you can change the menu to what you want. Example at the Smokehouse, we didn't want any sausage but more brisket, and they did that. Entertainment- we went to the shows and the sports bar. The Entertainment Team were always trying to get you to come and play the games. Shout out to KK- she has a good heart and is a hard worker. We participated in water aerobics with Zeus each day. He puts you through your paces. Over we had a good time- the weather could have been better but this is not the resorts issue.

Very nice room, clean, beautiful view. Overall the hotel has nice facility, rather friendly staff

Food quality in some of the restaurants could be a bit better
