"Best Resort Ever!"

10.0

This is by far the best all inclusive resort we have stayed at! The food was excellent, the service was amazing and the grounds were beautiful! Our housekeeper Christina kept our room clean and replenished with everything we needed. Our butler Devan was the best! Not only did he take care of things we needed, but he also checked on us throughout the day to see how we were doing!!!

"Underwhelming"

6.0

Oh they teeter totter between me never wanting to come again then maybe they resolve themselves. We got offer an “opportunity “ to upgrade fro Waves to the Selections for $375 per room for a week. Sold us on the upscale experience. IMO NOT worth it. Service at bars and restaurants are hit or miss. Most pool bartenders couldn’t even crack a smile. While some employees are wonderful here, others just make you feel uncomfortable. Our TV working was hit or miss. Maybe if I just got my room that I initially paid for, my expectations wouldn’t have been elevated. I dint think I’ll come back.

"Best All-Inclusive Resort Experience I’ve Ever Had in Jamaica!"

10.0

This was my first time staying at an all-inclusive resort in Jamaica, and even though I’ve visited several resorts before, this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. The food was absolutely incredible — easily the best all-inclusive food I’ve experienced. There was so much variety that every meal felt exciting, and the Jamaican dishes were especially outstanding. Everything was full of flavour, freshly prepared, and truly added something special to the whole trip. The atmosphere at the resort was perfect. It had an amazing vibe — relaxing when you wanted to unwind, but also fun and full of great energy. From the moment we arrived, the whole place felt warm, welcoming, and beautiful. What truly made this stay unforgettable was the staff. Every single person we met was friendly, kind, and genuinely helpful. When we explained that we are deaf, the staff were incredibly patient and made every effort to communicate clearly with us. That level of understanding and care meant so much to us and made our stay even more special. You can really see how hard the team works, and they absolutely deserve recognition for the incredible service they provide. This resort completely exceeded my expectations in every way. It delivered an unforgettable experience, and I would return in a heartbeat. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, vibrant, and truly welcoming all-inclusive resort experience in Jamaica 💚💛🖤.

"February trip to Jamaica"

10.0

We (my parents and I) went to this resort from February 1st to February 15th, 2026. We were not quite sure what to expect from the previous year seeing as this time around we were going following a hurricane. Granted, after recuperating from a devasting hurricane, I have to acknowledge how resilient they are, they greeted us with warm smiles and hospitality as usual and overall the resort looked great (with some areas showing some damage from the hurricane but they definitely worked diligently to get this resort back in the best shape possible for their guests). The concierge/front desk staff were very friendly and efficient in keeping us apprised of when our rooms would be available to us. Everything went smoothly and it made for an easy arrival experience. The Guest Services staff under Tassania and Chrystal welcomed us back with some gifts and a fruit plate in our rooms which was very appreciated. Simone, our room cleaning-lady, took great care of us with spotless rooms, clean towels etc. She was excellent. Yanique our Sunwing/Westjet representative was amazing. She was present/visible and very helpful and reassuring when it came to our questions and she was helpful for tour bookings for those who were interested. The animation staff under Peter and Sparkles made sure that guests were entertained with various games, trivia etc. It was very nice for us to have a chance to reconnect with them (they are like family to us). They have an amazing crew that work hard to keep us happy, keep us active and energized. Thank you (Peter, Sparkles, Tiffany, Fines, KK, Fresh, Mickey Mouse, Too Short, Skittles, Browning, Concrete and the friendly Big Guy) for the hard work and long hours that you commit to in order to make our trip worth while. The buffet restaurant and à la carte restaurants were well-stocked (especially considering they overcame a hurricane). It's unfortunate that some items that are common to Jamaica (ex: sugar cane and bananas) were scarce seeing as they were completely destroyed with the hurricane so we were told they had to restart building their crops from scratch. But overall there was plenty of variety of food for everyone's liking (ranging from jerk chicken, fish, mussels, shrimps, lobster, sushi, Indian food, pasta, pizza, soup, salads, cheese, deserts, fruits...). Every night was a themed night so the dinner buffet menu would vary so that the items served were linked to the theme night. We also had a chance to reconnect with some of our restaurant service staff which was a wonderful treat. They work hard to keep the tables cleaned, to provide us with the required items we are seeking (ex: water/coffee...), they are friendly, warm and very hospitable. A special thank you to Witney from the Italian à la carte restaurant and to Loris, Cassandra, Opal, Suzanne, Diandra, Shante, Roshane, Bevon from the buffet restaurant, who continue to provide excellent service and for whom we consider part of our family. What is nice about this resort is that it is small. Everything is accessible. There are a lot of pool chairs and there is a good-sized section that allows for "shade". The pool and ground our well maintained and very clean. All in all, though the weather didn't cooperate (which is out of their control as this is mother nature's doing), we had a wonderful trip. Thank you from Garnett, Denise and Jodi Gow.

"Long but honest review"

8.0

We stayed for 10 nights at this hotel (1st March - 11th March) and overall our stay was pleasant and enjoyable. There were a few things which could improve which will be mentioned below. Room: We booked a standard room which was quite dated, although very clean. The bed was super comfy and the shower was powerful. Occasionally there was a drain smell in the bathroom which would come and go. Our view wasnt amazing, a wall and a bit of grass / bushes, but this didnt bother me too much but would have been nice to have had a better view. Food: We found breakfast and lunch in the main buffet restraunt to be better than at dinner time. We tried the Italian which seemed nice (although we were very drunk when we ate there). We also tried the Jamaican restaurant on the beach for dinner which was below average. The jerk chicken and pork was dry and the rice and peas were sticky / mushy. There is a Japanese restaurant which you have to make a reservation for to use. We did not try this as we are not keen on Japanese food, but it did seem popular and has live cooking stations. Key point to remember which goes without saying - if you are looking to try good authentic jamaican food you need to come out of the hotel. The "jamaican" food in the hotel is not authentic as they are catering for people from many different countries, the staff even tell you this. Pool, beach & bar: The pool is lovely we spent the majority of our time here, although I heard some horror stories about the pool being closed on occasions from people either being sick in it or pooing in it 🫣 I assume the alcohol was too much for them. The beach was clean and did not see much seaweed as mentioned in other reviews. Although we did not spend any real time on the beach. There is security on the beach which are ensuring the vendors are not hassling guests to buy things from them. The vendors we come across were pleasant and if you said no, they would move on or just have a friendly conversation with you without causing any drama. The pool bar was nice, must admit, we had a favourite barman... Jevon. He was lively, bubbly, friendly and assertive. He made mine and my partners stay very enjoyable. We spent most our time at the bar when he was there in the morning as he seemed to go above and beyond for us. Although all the staff work extremely hard to ensure everyone is having a good time, it is just we seemed to "bond" with him the most. As other guests had "bonded" with other staff members. Jevon is definitely an asset to the team. Please tell him Ellie & big man say hello and Ellie is missing the mudslide cocktail and big man wants a strong womantail! Entertainment: We cannot comment much on this as we did not see any of the evening shows due to venturing out and about (mostly driving to kingston to see family). However, I heard some of the shows e.g. the magician, the jamaican night etc were good. There was the usual water aerobics at the pool every day which people seemed to enjoy, however I prefer to sit and watch whilst eating snacks 😉. There was a foam party which happens on Wednesday's... this was right up my street. They had a DJ, obviously a foam machine and would do a dance competition... well... twerking! Definitely entertaining. Location: We would definitely recommend hiring a car as other transport methods can get extremely costly. There are a few places outside of the hotel, bars etc but not many. The hip strip of Mo bay is a short drive away which is where you can visit Margaritaville and other bars. There is a small shopping centre in the airport direction which has a KFC, Wendy's, gift shops, supermarket and an ATM about a 20 - 30 min drive away. We ended up driving to Kingston 3 times during our stay to see family etc. This took roughly 2.5 hours to drive, using the toll road. The toll to Kingston cost 2,400 JMD each way and this must be paid for with CASH ONLY! Ensure you have cash to cover the toll before going on the toll road. The drive time can vary, particularly if it starts raining! It rains... Hard... you cannot see anything out of the window and some of the roads get flooded easily. Overall, our stay was very good, all the staff we come across were friendly, helpful, welcoming and fun, from cleaners, to bar staff, to bell boys, to concierge. I want to thank each and everyone of you for making my first visit to Jamaica memorable and I will definitely be returning to Jamaica soon.

The Cable stopped working and there were no options to connect the TV to the internet. Insufficient wet weather plan for the Jamaican restaurant on the beach.
