Quality Inn

Pool was cloudy and dirty. No hot breakfast as advertised, not even hard boiled eggs. The room was clean. Nice green space behind hotel for dogs. The price was right.

The property staff were very kind but the “one in charge” had only been training for a week and the one asking questions had been there a few days. We had issues with Expedia declining my credit card even tho I got charged for it, not the hotels fault but it felt like they were guessing about everything regarding the stay. While checking in they would take the activated room card and go to the designated room before we were given the card to “make sure nobody else was in there” very odd but the views were great if you looked east. To the west was the always beautiful and silent 75. Pizza place down the hill to have din.

We arrived to find crushed crackers on the floor and the room only partially cleaned. We called the front desk and she came and vacuumed and sprayed things down. However, the toilet didn't work properly - the water was filling improperly so we would have to turn the valve on and off to use it. We reluctantly agreed because there were no other rooms and they asked us to deal with it. I agreed for a discount on the room and was told that the manager would be told and that could likely happen. Dust flew out of the fan when the fan was turned on in the bathroom. More dirt came out of a vent in the bathroom when my husband showered. The toilet still didn't work even using the valve so my husband had to use the ice bucket to fill the tank to flush the toilet. It was RIDICULOUS! The next morning when checking out we asked for the discount and were told none could be given because we booked through Expedia! We were offered an upgrade on a room and a discount in our next stay there. WHAT?!?! Why would I ever stay there again? Do NOT waste your money here. We might as well have put $120 down a black pit!

Staff was very nice.

Toilet seat bolts were not secure. No battery in smoke detector. All other items needed were fine. Yes I’ll stay there again.

This is listed as Mt. Vernon. Well it is but it is the second exit. Th first exit is Mt. Vernon, Renfro Valley. So it took us an extra 6 mins. to get to our concert. This sits right off the expressway. very noisy. The only place to eat was the pizza hut right next to the hotel.

Just what we needed. Convenient location. Very reasonable rate. Will stay again

I wish Quality Inn’s would make the room numbers larger so you can see them especially at night.
