Iberostar Selection Anthelia

Beautiful hotel with clean rooms, tasty food and great views out to the sea. Only a short drive from the airport. Many thank yous to Mirian at the pool bar who nothing was too much trouble for and would never let you have an empty glass!

Second visit to Hotel Anthelia and can honestly say it is definitely 5 star. From the friendly reception staff to the cleanliness of the accommodation, variety of food, entertainment and abundance of facilities for all ages it is defiantly a fantastic place to stay. All the staff are highly motivated to ensure your stay is memorable. Highly recommend.

Fantastic hotel we come here 3/4 times a year. Food , pools etc great as always . Special mention to Mariam who is amazing around the pool nothing too much trouble and always makes sure you can relax and have what you want a true asset xx

Fantastic hotel in a great location, just 25 mins from the airport you enter the grand foyer to be greeted by the first of all the amazing staff that you will encounter. The food in the main dining hall was the most amazing buffet with all that you could want. Plenty of activities and entertainment to enjoy, spotless throughout a real joy to stay. Special mention to Mirian at the pool bar who goes the extra mile to make everyone welcome 👏

Location great - near to everything but nice and quiet. Rooms well designed and modern. Staff all lovely. Breakfast exceptional

Arrived here at the Iberostar Selection Anthelia what a fantastic hotel, rooms great pool and sunbeds excellent.Service in reception,breakfast and pool bar fantastic special call out to Ella at the pool bar always smiling.professional and nothing too much trouble.We have been coming to Tenerife for over twenty years and always stayed in the Golden Mile in Playa de Las Americas but this hotel for location,facilities and service (well done Ella) takes some beating,

Decided to come back to the hotel after visiting back in June, yet again another great trip lovely to see Mirian and Armando again, nothing was too much trouble for them, they are credit to the hotel, all the staff are so friendly. We will be back again in 6 months.

We have stayed in costa adeje for many years, so its the ideal location if you want the quieter part rather than las americas, which is still only a 40 min walk on the coastal promenade, but we thought we would try the Iberostar for my 50th birthday reading the recent reviews, knowing that it was a 5star and pricey but only started offering All Inclusive in the last year. there are pros and cons to this hotel and areas they can certainly improve on, which wouldn't be to troublesome, lovely entrance hall and reception and greeted with a smile and cava, but nothing much explained knowing we were new to the hotel no map etc. there seemed to be no dress code for evening meal, which was unusual. Front of House in the restaurant, could guide the cliental to their tables so the waiter staff would know who to serve drinks too, instead of being sat there for 10mins before someone noticing you hadn't been served. also being asked for your room number frequently when being served drinks in the restaurant and bars, which was quite annoying as you had to give it on entry of the restaurant anyway. Variety of food was good, quality meat but wouldn't state amazing on choice, buffet style hot counter was never that hot! just luke warm thou, lots of chef's replenishing trays but no one taking temperatures. It was disappointing to find the Italian wasn't open on my actual Birthday so ended up going out of the Hotel. We did eventually book the Portofino Italian as it was the ala carte restaurant which was lovely and staff were great. We stayed in a Duplex Room C425 which was lovely but no sofa on first floor just a base and one chair so you couldn't lean back as it was against a muralled wall. it was clean and spacious but the cleaning staff missed cleaning cups and glasses or replacing the tea bags, found towels where wearing thin, no extractor fans in the bathrooms. Didn't use the Mini bar as wasn't sure if we could or have to pay for it as not explained. the decor seemed a little tired in areas. Room cards maybe could be changed to chipped brackets so someone would only have to scan this to have all the information about the person/room no./also be the key entry to the room. this is something the Princess Guayarmina has and it works. Entertainment was great, having a separate hall works well. both pool areas are lovely, nice to have waiting service at main pool the right hand side gets more attention than the other thou, limited snacks on the menu for all inclusive expected more if you didn't want to make lunch in the main restaurant. We used the Spa for a Joint Message and that was great.

This hotel experience from the service to the food was excellent, the rooms were kept very clean the shower was amazing and all the staff always made sure you had a full drink, they serve the best quality food and drinks, I never go back to a hotel twice as like to try different ones but will definitely be back to this one next year for my birthday.

Proper luxury but still warm and friendly. The grounds are stunning, the food is unreal, and everything feels polished. The rooms are big, the pools are beautiful, and the whole place has this calming, classy energy without ever feeling stuffy. A high-end gem.
