Great family destination. We were pleased with the food offerings and activities. It was fun to see the wildlife wandering around the resort. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

"Great for families, needs repairs"

Located 1 hour away from Cancun airport, a short taxi ride from Playa del Carmen (15€ taxi ride). 5min walk from hotel a small souvenirs area, pharmacy etc, all inclusive family friendly a gated community so quite safe. Tucan and Quetzal both share the common area and are located on the outside of the central jungle area with the restaurants, pools, etc. lovely to see so many animals running free around the property. All inclusive family friendly with plenty of activities for kids, large pools, and free rental of balls, ping pong , billiard. Staff was always friendly. 6 restaurants on site, the Italian and the Japanese one needed reservations. They didn’t all have open for breakfast, lunch or dinner, so sometimes long waiting to be seated. Favorite was Cozumel restaurant. Snack bar and ice cream bar, plenty of drink bars.

We arrived around 1pm and waited for our rooms until, which were not ready until after 3:30pm. Then the room keys were not properly activated, so we had to walk back to the reception to get them reactivated. We had two rooms and one of the rooms had a very loud AC, which made sleeping very uncomfortable. Plus: it was so loud it covered the noise from the neighboring hotel club with their loud party music till 2am. The rooms are quite old and it’s visible that changes haven’t been made since it was built, but the rooms were clean. The seats at the pool were blocked before 7am, and the pool management didn’t do anything about empty blocked seats until midday. Made it difficult to find a seating area. The sea shore was covered in brown algae when we were there so everyone was hogging the pool.

"Beautiful, great food, poor sun bed availability"

Food was amazing, the choice of restaurants is fantastic, such variety. Resort with the jungle in the middle was great, we had peacocks walking around us on the beach and at the pool! It’s a beautiful place. Rooms are nice, balconies shaded but slightly dated. Staff are cleaning, painting and gardening all the time keeping the resort at its best. Only let downs were the sun beds are all reserved very early and the staff accept money to reserve them for you. The people next to us one day paid $100 to reserve for 2 weeks. It’s poor. Also, the resort ‘credit’ you receive is actually 25% discount when you spend $100! No kids entertainment in the nights and some things are payable. We would recommend but wouldn’t return due to the sun beds.

A reggeli sokoldalú, választékos, példaképp 8 féle képen elkészített tojás ételek. A parkosítás rendkívül gondozott, benne rejtőző apró állatok külön hangulatot teremtenek, és azok jólétéről figyelemmel gondoskodnak.

Központi klíma néha zajos. Kiismerhetetlen üzemmódban zörögni kezdett.

We had a room that was with an ac not working properly. It was reported multiple times, with us actually walking into the room with maintenance checking it and told us it was working fine. To our surprise it was actually hotter that night. The day before we left the manager came to our room and it was indeed not working. Out of our entire stay we had one night of ac. When checking out we were then greeted with a manager and promised we would receive an email with upgrades and ways to try and rectify our stay. Here we are almost a week later with no email. Even after me emailing them as a follow up. This was our 3rd time to stay at an Iberostar property. Unfortunately, possibly our last. Outside of this we had another issue - a worker found my son’s yeti cup and was using it. Sons fault for loosing it but that shows your staff do not turn things into lost and found. We made the most of our stay and enjoyed the people we came with as well as the beach, pool, food and drinks. We had 5 rooms at the resort. 1 other had ac problems as well. They were disappointed as well.

Muy amable recepción Los empleados de restaurante Del bufete muy sonrientes y amables

No nos dijeron en recepción de app así que no sabíamos de las actividades No me querían hacer reserva para restaurante La Góndola porque solo reservé 2 noches, me queje y les dije que en mi reservacion no tenía esa restricción, les dije que me quejaría entonces después me llamaron para decirme que ya teníamos reservacion, el servicio de La Góndola mal, muy lento, el mesero William grosero, conteston, me tuteaba, le dije considerando tardanza " por favor 2 cafés y me contestó ya los quieres ahorita? Le dije si porque se tardan, "después llevo solo 1 cafe, le dije eran 2, me dijo no tu me pediste Uno Nunca me había tocado un mesero con esa actitud Lo lento del servicio se lo reporte a Abril, y lo comentó a una chica que llego a decirnos que había muchos pedidos en la cocina o sea ni se disculpó TODOS amables, solo este incidente lo hecho a perder
