Budget Lodge Inn - Abilene

We didn’t need all the extra bells and whistles, so this place was great for us. Room had updated tile in the bathroom and a newer coat of paint. Mini fridge, microwave and hair dryer in the room. Updated dresser, nightstands and vanity. Loved that there was a small table with two chairs so we didn’t have to eat sitting on the bed. Staff was friendly and even let our daughter check in early when she arrived an hour before us. Bed was comfy, pillows were soft, carpet looked clean. There were no temperature controls in the room, but the temperature was fine for us. We stayed in the summer but could probably use a thicker blanket in the colder months.

It was ok for a run down motel, booked a room for three nights only stayed two and the owner refused to give a refund for the last night. Hotels.com called the owner and he would not refund the last night but hotels.com did! Thank you hotels.com.

Convient to everything. The price was AMAZING. Wish there would of been a continental breakfast, coffee, controls to the climate, and a vent fan for the bathroom. Would still rent again in the future.

Don't except much. Toliet plugged up. Shower head broke so no shower. Asked for an extra blanket. Got one with holes in it along with a big corner of it torn. No place in bathroom to put make up kit, etc. No towel racks either. Guess we got what we paid for! Not much!Manager was friendly enough but had the "oh well take it or leave it" attitude! Our stay could have been much better.

Nothing fancy,no frills, but Clean and affordable. Bed was very comfortable. Restaurant/Bar just a walk across parking lot. Would stay here again.

The husband and wife managers/owners were very nice and helpful. Motel was probably built in the late 60's or early 70's. Room 25 was small, very old carpet, walls in need of paint. Mattress were very old and stained (I looked under the mattress cover), limp pillows. Bathroom shower very odd to use, paint needed there as well. No coffee maker but did have a microwave and small refrig. On the positive, it's a great location, close to everything. And for the price, I would stay there again if I ever go back to Abilene, KS.

Good AC and I felt secure during a major thunderstorm that came right through Abilene.

The hotel is very old and rundown. There was a big storm the night we stayed and there was a water leak and unfortunately my backpack was against the wall and it was soaked along with everything in it.

The air conditioner didn't work the heater was on the phone was literally falling apart someone getting in the shower it went from normal to hot then back to normal then high again and they're very rude

We had stayed there twice in 2018. So I decided to do it again one time 2019. The room was clean, HOWEVER room 71, had NO cold water in the shower. Had to take a boiling hot shower. The sink had cold and hot water but not the shower. OUCH
