Very welcoming and accommodating.

Could have been warmer on arrival, also heating on last morning.

It felt a bit grubby carpet smelt and toilet door didn’t work and the light kept going off but the breakfast was nice

Friendly attentive staff, no issues at all there, cleanliness was acceptable. Good breakfast.

In our room the bath panel was broken, damaged toilet flush button, loo roll holder was half hanging off. Shower chrome product holder very rusty. Carpets frayed. Net curtain had a rip/hole in it. The carpet up the stairs leading to all the rooms was absolutely filthy and stained, carpet badly fitted. The whole place looks very tired and in need of updating and TLC.

The breakfast was huge and delicious. Staff were friendly and informative. The room was comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities . We used the restaurant for dinner and the food was very enjoyable.

There was nothing not to like about this place

Although the outside doesn’t look appealing, when you walk into the bar it was really cosy. Stew was very friendly as was the lad at breakfast. Didn’t eat off the menu but the breakfast was very tasty.

It needs a little TLC but otherwise it was good
