The Windmill

The room was clean alltho the noise of traffic from A19 was noisy would benefit from triple glazing . No breakfast that was a little disappointing

I think its my 3rd visit to the Windmill The floorboards are creaky, the phone signal is really awful. (But that does have a positive, no disturbances) Its a lovely little place to stay! The staff are fantastic. It's spotlessly clean. The restaurant is great, too much choice and very, very tasty. Although it's right on the A19 its peacefully quiet. A cracking little place that's quirky and does exactly what is says on the tin. Cheap n cheerful 😊

Easy to find and check in.

Rooms are a little dated but comfortable.

Food was amazing and the staff waiting on were excellent

Room was very dated. Nobody on reception. My details were just left on the reception with my name address etc for all to see. Definitely won’t stay again

the staff was not very helpful plug didn’t fit in the bath no t spoons to stair drinks towels smelt no staff about when leaving didn’t get shown to room didn’t tell us what time we had to check out only 1 pillow each wanted another couldn’t find anyone to get us one

The room was out dated and the shower head was held on with cable ties and broken tiles by the toilet also broken plug socket and one light out no remote for tv

Dinner was fine once the music in the restaurant quietened down. Breakfast is not available because of Covid?????

The cover on the double bed in my room had several stains on it.
