Caribe Resort by Wyndham Vacation Rentals

The condo, C212, was spacious. However we called about a raw shrimp smell in the condo and the smell remained there the entire 4 nights. Amenities that were offered and guided us to rent this place (splash pad and putt-putt golf) were unavailable/roped off and unusable. Previous renters clothing were still in the unit and small details were not given attention (i.e broken trash can, messed up paint, and of course the smell).

It was a great time!!

All 4 of my light bulbs at the dining area were out. How does that even get past maintenance? Called about it but it wasn’t replaced in my 5 night stay. You’d think for that price bulbs wouldn’t be an issue to come change but I was wrong.

AMAZING

This unit was Amazing!!! Plenty of space and very clean. Had everything needed to cook every meal. The living area and bedrooms were so comfortable everyone wanted to stay extra days. Walking distance to public beach. & Taxied down to Flora-Bama.. Will definitely stay again..

The lazy river was a hit the grandkids. Seem to have a lot of unsupervised kids, loud late @ night. The unit had several items that property maintenance needed to attend. The refrigerator ice maker did not work, the ice maker in the wet bar was broke, & one of the bedroom ceiling fan had 2 of the 3 bulbs blown.

Wonderful location, and that was the saving grace. Loved having a porch overlooking water. But our unit needed major tlc, many many appliances were broken (can opener, toaster, soap dispenser on washer, blender). Some areas were dirty, some major stains on a pillow and there were crumbs/sand in our bed when we climbed in for the first time. Check in was a bit of a disaster, the first staff member said they didn’t have our reservation (we had driven 14 hours so we started panicking). We were sent to 2 different buildings, and about an hour later we finally figured it all out. Not the worst thing in the world but it was majorly stressful. The master bed was sinking in in the middle, badly, and we slept at the wrong end bc it was on an incline. It was obvious it had been breaking and it was propped up with wooden pieces but it was so very uncomfortable and desperately needs replaced. We also had a corner unit and the slamming of outside doors would shake our entire unit, and it went on all day and well into the night (heard it until 1 am one night). C101 was our unit. If you are going during winter or early spring, outdoor pools aren’t heated so just be prepared for them to be cold. Had a broom but no dustpan, had 1 extra blanket but not enough for our party, not all the tvs would work, etc…it didn’t ruin our vacation but just really missed the mark on details and comfort.

Lots to do, easy beach access

Nice place where you can relax , My children and I enjoyed beach and indoor swimming pool on winter . People are nice , customer service was fast answering some requests only one point : Pest Control Services has to be improved in the condo

The resort itself is great but the unit we had was horrible. It was dirty, hair all over the bed, and tub, and every piece of furniture was dirty and worn out. This place needs a deep cleaning and some newer furniture.
