Garden Route Game Lodge

Recently stayed here for a 2 night experience. It was amazing!!! Saw all the animals you would expect and more. Game guides are great very knowledgeable. Food is good with most cooked to order. We were upgraded to a deluxe lodge which was fabulous. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!!

Very enjoyable experience. Our tour guide Liesel was fantastic! Rustic lodging added to ambience. Enjoyed dinner and breakfast buffet in beautiful surrounds.

We stayed at the Garden Route Game Lodge for 2 nights to enjoy the experience of a Safari. We were impressed by the quality of the facilities for such a remote location. Also the meals were excellent. The meals were described as a buffet, but all meats and hot breakfast were cooked to order. The Safari itself was amazing. We were able to see all the big 5 animals as well as many others living on the reserve. I was impressed by how close we were to the animals. The Cheetahs and Rhinos put on a spectacular show for us. Our guide Abri was extremely knowledgeable and provided much understanding of the challenges for these large animals today. Each time we went out on the reserve we were able to see and experience something different.

stayed 2 nights with a friend which is more than enough time to do the game drives and see what you want to see on them, the room was comfortable and kept very clean, my only issue was the lock on the door was a bit tempremental would lock easily at times and other times took a couple of attempts, maintance had a look & said it was fine which it wasnt, Meals very tasty with plenty of variation.would recommend if you want a taste of a game lodge at reasonable prices as the elephants & the lions are kept segregated from the other wild animals due to the lack of hecteres so they are not by law allowed to be free roaming.

Fantastic one day stay. Room comfortable. Meals tastefull and game drives very informative. Hannes was a star!!!!

What a lovely experience! We saw so much game and the game drives were truly amazing. The dining room is nice and modern with beautiful views. It would have been nice if the bedrooms had more natural light coming in and if they had a view. Other than that we had a great stay.

Had 2 game safaris, saw 4 of the big 5. Our guide ABRI was very knowledgeable and made the game tour interesting. Great buffet dinner & breakfast. Comfortable room.
