Clifton Hotel

OK hotel. Needs a good clean though, especially the carpets. The bathroom was a little to small and had no windows so got very stuffy after a shower. Not enough room for everyone to have breakfast before 9 o clock. We wanted to have breakfast at 8:15 but there was no room so had to wait for people to finish first. The best thing about this hotel is the location and the Staff. They are very friendly and helpful. 10/10 to the staff.

It was good clean and quiet.

Staff very helpful and great location for our trip but it’s pretty basic b&b. Would’ve probably given it 4 stars for the price but the cooked breakfast was truly horrific, the worst I’ve ever had. It certainly wasn’t cooked fresh - it was reheated. The bacon was like leather, the scrambled egg dry as a bone and lukewarm. Avoid the cooked breakfast at all costs

Lovely property overall. Staff are very nice. Our room could have used a little updating. (ie. New drapes, bathroom tub ). Breakfast was amazing and served by a super friendly Staff

This property is beautiful, staff very kind and helpful. Food was very good. Staff arranged taxis for us as we were not familiar with the area, suggested great dining and shopping options. I would definitely return if I’m able to travel back to Scotland in the future.

The staff were amazing

It was nice and simple. The breakfast was good and the staff were great especially the main lady in charge. She made my experience better and was beyond helpful. My heaters didn’t work too great but I got a big warm comfy blanket to makeup for it so I was happy. The shower worked great, room clean, and I never felt unsafe with anything being stolen or just being in this area.

Proximity to our event was excellent, room was a bit small, the young lady at the front desk was a delight
