Hotel Tugu Lombok

Hotel location: The resort is set in a beautiful landscape, in the north side of the island and takes about 2 hours from the airport. So if you decide to stay in Tugu, be prepared to "stay-in" the resort for your stay duration. Room: we were upgraded to the Honeymoon Suites - Dadap Merah, which is a massive room with big four poster bed and leaf shape plunge pool on the beach front. We loved our room, except some part, such as the wardrobe area and bathroom could have a brighter lighting. Hotel staff: friendly and they would go out of their way. All you need to do, just ask. Would we go back? maybe not, because of the location is too far way from everything else

We stayed here for 5 days as part of our honeymoon . We cannot fault this hotel , the staff , the food and the rooms . Everything was perfect . The hotel is right on the coral beach and is very tranquil . Nothing was too much trouble for the staff , we were made to feel very special . The spa is well worth a visit .

True luxury and amazing location. Off the beaten path. Service at Tugu cannot be matched.

This was the nicest hotel I have stayed at in a long while. The owners have created a magical atmosphere through using reclaimed furnishings and creative lighting. It is a little expensive for Indonesia but good value none the less (particularly when compared to other top notch hotels on Lombok). Wish we had stayed longer than our two nights.

Depends on what you are looking for! Customer Service- excellent; Quality of Food- excellent, but more expensive than Bali (maybe because more remote location), outdoor bathroom- only if you like to be one with nature; Beach- nice, but a little rough getting in and out, and trash washes up on shore (hotel cleans it, and I guess it sadly can't be helped). Overall, a nice hotel with friendly customer service, but the location/remoteness/theme is only for some people.

Amazing hotel! Everything was really perfect !

We stayed 10 days for a relaxing break. We expected to spend more time doing various activities on offer but were upgraded to a fabulous villa with a huge private pool on the beach - which was very difficult to leave. The setting was beautiful, meals offered at any location of your choice, plenty of variety both local and international. We tended to brunch in the restaurant, then have dinner on the beach. Massages great, yoga on the beach where the only noise was the waves and the odd fishing boat chugging around the bay. We took the "Dragon boat" snorkelling in the Gili islands and visited local sites - the hotel arranged guides and drivers, who were all english speaking. Staff were very professional, friendly and quick to make suggestions and offer options. Any issues dealt with quickly, with no fuss. The property is spread out and we hardly noticed others. We valued the the chance to read a book in a beautiful setting with the choice to venture around the island as we wished - this was a fabulous R&R holiday.

The location, staff and general feeling of the hotel was glorious but the food was overpriced and a real disappointment, on several occasions we took the first bite then pushed the plate to the side, something unusual for both my partner and me. Breakfast should be included, they have got a monopoly with breakfast as closest alternative is 40min away. The pricy and distasteful meals left a bad taste in our mouths...pun intended!

We were staying for 5 days. Once we arrived at hotel Tugu, we were welcomed with warm welcome from the hotel General manager and first class service by Tugu hotel staff. The room we stayed was at Bagawat Gita suite we welcomed by a private swimming pool and open beach just in from room. Food were fantastic and recommended to have private dinner by the beach. Love hotel Tugu and will be seeing you soon

Probably one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. The food was amazing, the staff where so warm, friendly and no request was too difficult. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and well maintained and the rooms were sublime, especially that amazing king size bed that could sleep a small army. We felt very cared for whilst at Tugu and loved our massages and cooking class. I can't think of anything negative about experience at all, total paradise.
