Kalimera Kriti Hotel & Village Resort

Let’s start with the good things: Kalimera Kriti is a massive size resort, has two great beaches, enough swimming pools (among them one with Olympic size!) and the location of our room (“beach front”) was perfect, with sunset views from our terrace. The quality and variety of the food at the breakfast and dinner buffet were good and empty items were promptly refilled. However, we still would not return. First, it is massive, so the number of people (mostly German package tourists) is incredible. At the buffet, you seem to constantly bump into others. Most of the staff at the restaurant (but not all) do their best, but they are completely overworked. They have no time to show you to your table, ask for drinks or let alone ask if everything is OK. No personalized attention at all. We would have liked to visit an a la carte restaurant for dinner but there is none. The same was true at check-in and check-out. Machine-like robots, saying only what is absolutely necessary, no asking if the stay was fine or anything like that. When we were brought to the room, the guy did not show us the room but let us stand outside. No coffee machine in the room. Water was there on the first day but was never refilled. I had to ask for additional chairs for the terrace (there were only 2 although we had a room for 4 guests) three times. Their App that they promote does not work, the messages were not read for more than a month! In the obviously not maintained app it was possible to reserve dinner at the closed a la carte restaurant (closed in the middle of high season in July). Beach service does not exist. Nobody asks for drinks or anything. The sunbeds are old and worn. The beach is also used by outsiders, that just come to the resort grounds for the day. The “beach front” room was really, really old and rather shabby, in urgent need for renovation. But worst of all, the shower. It was in an extremely narrow and tiny bathtub, you could hardly stand in there. The ugly plastic curtain did not protect the bath from getting flooded after each shower. This hotel is by no means five stars, as they seem to propose. Considering the price, I cannot recommend the resort.

We had a pleasant stay in a generously designed resort right on the coast. We appreciated the beautiful beach, which was never crowded, plenty of sun loungers and parasols, and the beautiful large swimming pools.

Great Spa. Kalliopi‘s Massage was just Perfect, so relaxing and peaceful. Highly recommended! ASK for Kalliopi! The whole Team is very nice and welcoming! Thank you for the lovely experience!

Property sold as 5 stars while it can barely make it to 4 by all standards, the service is seldom with frowning faces , my room was without minimal requirements of 3 stars no coffee maker that is in 3 stars hotels, cleaning is below standards , ants and old furniture, the only bright thing is the main restaurant where they try to be up to level , the beach bar waiters are so rude, never will be there again

Aegea spar. It was my first time getting a massage. The staff were very nice making the experience relaxing . Chrysa did a great job with a deep tissue massage and has helped with my tight muscles 💪🏼

This is an excellent property . Outstanding location. Lots of amenities. Really enjoyed our stay there. Great food selection. If i have to pick something which I did not like is that there is a separate cost for things like water and coffee. Water bottle costs 3 Euro. It’s not an all inclusive resort. Water, Coffee are not included in the room price with full board.
